Sometimes its hard to just keep going.

"Fine," Cassie snapped. "Fricken ignore me then. What did she ever do to you Lyss? What? Your hurting people for no reason, just so you won't get hurt. But I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, you're a fricken Malfoy and a coward and yeah I know that you don't really give a damn about what the frick I'm saying but I gonna fricken say it anyway." Cassie drew back her fist and punched Lyssa in the face who hadn't gotten out of the way fast enough. "Why do I care?" Cassie asked more talking to herself as she grabbed Lyssa's closest arm, which wasn't her wand hand, and twisted that behind her back. "You never really cared about me did you? I was just there so you had someone to fall back on despite what I may have needed, cause you knew I would."

Lyssa flinched at Cassie's actions. Quite fortunately, or rather unfortunately, the spell on Lizzie did not require her concentration on it. "Just how am I a coward, Cassie? People don't get into Gryffindor by being cowards after all."

Cassie snorted. "Look at her," Cassie said pointing to her sister. "You're holding a wand at her, first she's a muggle and has no chance at being able to retaliate, secondly, she has done nothing to you that deserves that and thirdly. You're just doing it so the idiot who thinks his awesome won't kill you. If that isn't cowardince I have no idea what is." Cassie grabbed her arm again, though time she spun the girl around, holding onto the wrist of her wand hand. "Drop it," She told Lyssa, her tone full of venom.

"Make me," Lyssa challenged Cassie, looking the girl dead in the eyes. Her adrenaline had started rushing through her now, and it was a lot easier to be cruel that way. She didn't need to completely fake it at the moment anymore.

"Fine," Cassie rearranged her hand so it was holding Lyssa's at another angle and then bent it backwards, using her leg she pulled Lyssa's leg out from under her.

Lyssa stumbled at the action, but she tried to keep her grip on her wand firm. It was incredibly hard to hold onto something when you're half falling and in a very uncomfortable position.

While she was stumbling Cassie pushed Lyssa, causing the girl to fall over, she put her foot on Lyssa's hand, pressing down softly, she didn't want to hut Lyssa she just wanted her sister to stop hurting. "Drop it," Cassie snapped at her ignoring the sounds of discomfort her sister was making. It acoured to Cassie that Lyssa wasn't fighting back, just doing her best not to drop her wand so she could continue the spell on her sister.

Lyssa frowned. "No," she replied, then she squirmed her wrist free and pushed herself up from the ground slightly. Then she waved the wand slightly, using a spell that would knock Cassie a couple of feet away from her.

Cassie crashed into the ground but got onto her feet quickly. Cassie looked at Lyssa with a frown, wondering what to do. "Why not?" Cassie asked her rubbing her hands onto her pants. "What reason do you have to hurt her. She didn't do anything. If you're going to hurt someone, hurt me but leave her out of it."

Lyssa shrugged. "I could always just hurt you both," she said, not sure if she actually meant it or not. She wasn't sure of a lot of things nowadays. But, Lyssa went along with the natural feeling flow of things, so didn't bother with that thought too much.

"Leave. Her. Alone." Cassie snarled walking slowly to where Lyssa was standing. Lizzie had no reason to be there, they were just trying to hurt her and it was working. Cassie could deal with herself being in pain, but not with her family members and she didn't like having to hurt people.

Lyssa knew she would probably regret saying this later but she opened her mouth and said, "Give me three good and valid reasons why I should. Then maybe it'll happen." She kept her grip on her wand tight, just in case she should need it.

Cassie narrowed her eyes. "Because she's my sister and you wouldn't like it if I did the same thing to Draco. If you don't I'll give you a black eye and a broken nose and if you're going to fight me make it fair, either give me a wand or discard yours. How you got into Gryffindor is anyone's guess, you exactly like the rest of your fricken family."

Lyssa nearly let herself smirk for a second. "You want to know how I got in Gryffindor?" she asked. "Well, I'll tell you. Because, believe it or not, I told the hat to. So that I wouldn't lose my newest friend, and because I couldn't stand any of my brother's friends. I did it for rather selfish reason I think, but" she shrugged lightly, "it doesn't matter much now, does it?"

"I don't give a fricken damn," Cassie said, her anger was about to explode again. She swallowed glaring at Lyssa. "I'm serious Lyss, hex me if you want to but leave my sister out of it. Or fight her in the way she would fight. She doesn't live in this world, she only grudingly accepts that magic exists but she hates it. Right now, I fricken hate it hasn't done me any good." After the first half Cassie had really started talking to herself. She frowned and shook her head. "Just stop, before you really piss me off."

"You've overlooked one small detail there, Cass," Lyssa said. "I can't stop unless told to stop."

"I don't give a fricken damn," Cassie shouted at Lyssa taking a step towards her. Cassie really had had enough of Lyssa's joking around. She clenched her fist and drew it back intending of punching the other girl in the jaw.

Lyssa frowned at Cassie, raising her wand at the girl, eyes narrowed ever so slightly. She did the spell to knock her back again, only this time with more force than before, thus Cassie was knocked back all the way across the room. "Just give it up."

Cassie snorted. "You should know me Lyss, I don't give up. I'm a Gryffindor. Remember?" Her eyes glimmered darkly as she assed what to do next, if she walked up to Lyssa again she'd probably get smacked into a wall. But there was nothing else she could do.

Lyssa sighed slightly, eyes wandering to Voldemort who was still in the room, observing the two. Then she looked at Lizzie who was still under the effects of the spell. Lyssa pointed her wand at the girl and said, "Restituo." Then she looked at Cassie. "Happy, now? It's just between you and me now."

"Yes I'm happy," Cassie snipped sarcasticly. "Nothing brightens my day more then knowing my family are in the hands of Death Eaters, my best freind is a psychopath and the fact that I feel like complete and utter crap."

Lyssa shrugged at her, vaguely noticing that the room was almost empty now. Just the two of them were still in there. Everyone else, it seemed, had tired of the two and had gone on with their lives. "Well, now that there's nothing at stake, care to rant at me some more? So long as you don't hit me, there should be no conflict."

Cassie scowled and didn't say anything. She fast-walked across the room and punched Lyssa in the jaw. Cassie noticed that no-one else was in the room, including her sister. She frowned, supposing that the girl had been dragged back to the cellar.

Lyssa stumbled back from the hit just a little bit. "You are dead set on giving me a bruise, aren't you?" she asked, lightly rubbing the spot that had been hit. "I really don't want to knock you out, but I will if I have to."

Cassie snorted and before Lyssa could retaliate she pushed her roughly into the wall, grabbing her wrist with her left hand and with her right pried Lyssa's wand out of her hand. Cassie took a step back, twirling the peice of wood in her hands.
