A Change of Pace: RoA

Cassie nodded. "I'd also advise not going back to Hogwarts as V- he's there, but," Cassie shrugged.

"What about the people who are still there?" someone piped up. "There's a lot of people, and a lot of the Order."

Cassie sighed somewhat. "You can go back there if you want, I'm just advising you don't." She shrugged.

And yeah, they talked a bit more about some stuff, but it's not getting typed out because this is getting tedious.

Soon, everyone was squared away with what they were doing. A few, the ones that couldn't apparate yet, asked to just stay at the house, while the rest either went home or back to the school.

so Audentia got a bunch of more members. Cassie figured out, with the help of some members, how the charm the cloaks so only the one wearing it could put it down. She also charmed the bracelets so you needed a key word for them. And tightened the wards. Also getting the bracelets to glow blue when the members were needed. It had been quite a lot of work. Cassie had also gotten everyone to make a nickname up, so if they ever dueled they wouldn't be alerting the Death Eaters to their actual names if they needed to shout things at eachother. Cassie's cloak had images of red crystals on the rim of her cloak. As her nickname was Red Crystal. Depending on their nickname depended on what was on their cloak.

The students who were still at school's bracelets had also been charmed to portkey them back to Hogwarts with a different code-word than the one to get them to Audentia. As they still needed their education even if Hogwarts wasn't exactly what it had been. The students whose parents allowed them to stay at Hogwarts stayed there.

"We need a way to find out when the Death Eaters are out and raiding," Cassie said frowning running a hand through her hair. That was the only flaw in Cassie's idea.

Lyssa was sitting at the table, prodding at the hem of her cloak, still caught up in what sort of butterfly she wanted at the bottom when she heard Cassie. Stopping what she was doing, she looked up at the girl. "I could be a spy," she suggested, fully expecting to get rejected.

"What? No," Cassie said when Lyssa voiced her idea. "Too dangerous,"

"What other choice do we have?" Lyssa asked. "There's no other way of knowing than to have someone on the inside."

"But what happens if he finds out?" Cassie asked her. "Then your dead, and I don't want to lose you again."

"He won't find out," Lyssa promised. "He wouldn't even suspect."

"Lyssa he's V-yeah. But I don't know if you're going to be able to hide it from him." She shrugged.

"I will be able to. There's no question about it. At all," she said.

"If you're sure," Cassie said chewing on her lip. She didn't want Lyssa to have to do this, but it might be the only way to find out what Voldemort was doing.

"I'm absolutely sure," Lyssa said.

Cassie nodded somewhat. "Well I guess, you should go and work that out then." She said slowly, still hesitent on the idea.

Lyssa nodded, getting up to put her cloak in her room that she was using. Then she set out to set herself up as a spy for Audentia. Tsuki is not going into detail however, so use your imagination.

A few days later Cassie was sitting in the kitchen, eating.

Lyssa had just apparated back to the house, from doing her job as a spy. She walked in through the back door which led to the kitchen, where Cassie was. "He's sending out a small group of Death Eaters to Easton on Saturday night. There's a small group of resistors he's looking to take out," she said, not bothering to lead into any sort of conversation.

Cassie put down her food, nodding.

Sometime later that day she called the members of Audentia, it had to be later, so the ones at school could get there without having to skip class. As the teachers might get a little suspicious if half a dozen students left their class. "Alright," She said once everyone was there. or just about everyone. "This Saturday the Death Eaters are going to be at Easton, I want us to be there before them, but don't fire until the say so, I'll make the bands glow. They'll probably be expecting the order, but no-one else so we want to get them off gaurd."

Lyssa stood in the corner of the room as Cassie told the other members the plan for Saturday. She waited until the last person had left again before speaking. "I really hate being a spy. I'm paranoid that I'll slip up or something. I know I said I could do it, but it's harder than I thought."

Cassie frowned somewhat. "You don't have to be if you don't want to," She said. Wondering if her idea was stupid, getting people their age to fight in a war. THey didn't need to. But they wanted to. They didn't want to sit aound and let the adults do it all. Which she supposed was the real reason she had created Audentia. To give people a chance to fight if they wanted to.

"Yes, I do have to be, Cassie," Lyssa said. "What use would this group be if I wasn't? We'd never get anything done, because we wouldn't know where things are happening."

"I suppose," Cassie said with a resigned sigh. "I just don't like the idea, cause I don't want you to get hurt."

"I'm trying my best," Lyssa said. "I just...need to think things through more. Like how I'm supposed to be on two sides Saturday as I'm expected to help his side, but I'm not really on it."

"Hrm," Cassie said with a slight frown. "I'd say, be on the Death Eaters side, but jsut keep missing. Not obviously, but like make the spell just miss them. Or 'accidently' hit Death Eaters or something. Cause I don't think you can just not be there, as that might cause problems. Unless you go with them, grab your cloak from me or something, without anyone noticing fight with us then when the DE leave, drop the cloak and go with them?"
