"Look, can we just go already?" Lyssa asked. "Before another Mu-" She stopped, knowing that if she continued Cassie would probably go off on her. Not exactly desirable in a crowded place.

"Sure," Cassie said a little irritibly, because she knew what Lyssa was about to say, she didn't get why she was acting the way she was.

"Thank you," Lyssa said. "So how are we leaving? Floo? Apparating? Or the Muggle way?"

"I don't mind," Cassie said walking around a small boy, who looked five, who had fallen over and was crying. His mum crouched down next to him.

"Flooing it is then," Lyss said, walking to the nearest Floo-connected shop she knew of.

"Okay," Cassie said following Lyssa.

Lyssa nodded at the shopkeeper, who had always allowed her to Floo from their fireplace with no charge on the powder she used for it. She tossed it in the fireplace and said her's and Cassie's address, stepping and getting whisked home.

Cassie grabbed some floo powder and followed Lyssa to there house. Getting there she dumped her books on the floor. She plopped down onto the couch, curling her feet under her.

Lyssa headed off to the small bathroom that joined the two bedrooms in the house and washed her hands off before she did anything else. Then she went to the kitchen and pulled out a can of tomato juice to drink.

"What was up before?" Cassie asked as Lyssa sat down. "Cause you're not acting as, i dunno, stingy anymore."

Lyssa shrugged taking a drink of her juice. "I told you. I don't like crowds."

"It wasn't just the not liking crowds, you've been in crowds like that before and been fine."

"Maybe I'm just having an off day. I did say Mud- buggerfuck. That one word once, and then almost said it...two more times after that."

"Why'd you say it though?"

"I dunno. It just happened. I actually think I'm only stopping myself saying it more because I know you'll chew me out for it."

Cassie looked at her. "Why would you say it though? Why do you want to say to? It's discriminating."

"I don't care what it is. It's faster to say."

Cassie looked at her, with an eyebrow raised. "What the heck? So'd you'd rather say something because it takes half a second shorter than not say it because it's discriminating and offensive?"

"Well, people could choose not to get offended, you know," Lyssa said defensively.

"It was created to be offensive, you say it because you want to offend them. Not as something to say, you don't go around calling people sluts just because you can. You do it because it's offensive and demeaning."

"Well, if someone were to be acting slutty I would call them a slut, so I don't see why Mudblood is any different."

"Because they have no choice in the fact that they're muggle born.

"That's not my fault, nor is it my problem. Now, I will call them whatever the hell I want to and you will not stop me."

"THat's ridiuculous, it's like people judging you on your name, you're judging them by their blood status."

"Cassie, I don't fucking care."
