I'm Guessing You Can't Always Win

Lani quirked an eyebrow. "Well?"

Taylor opened her eyes slightly looking at her. "Go to hell," She muttered softly.

"Been there. It's nice," Lani said with a laugh.

"Kind of boring actually," Regan said with a slight yawn. Taylor rolled her eyes, putting her head down on her knees.

"Well, that too," Lani said with a nod. "Do you wanna see what hell is like Taylor?"

"'d rather not," She murmered quietly.

Kalani frowned. "Too bad. Get ready to go there."

"Slong as I don't get jet lag," She said.

"Nah. You won't. You're just likely to end up dead."

:Sounds lovely," Taylor said with fake enthusiasm. "Just wonderful."

"We'll try our best to keep you alive," Lani said. "I promise. After all, it would be tragic for you siblings to lose their last family left."

Taylor's eyes narrowed at her. She chewed on her lip, wondering how the twins were.

"Granted," Lani continued, "there's no guarantee you won't be absolutely insane by the end if you don't happen to die."

"well, at least I won't be the only mad one."

"Did you just call me mad?"

"Might have?" Tay said shrugging lightly.

"Well, while I'm not going to deny that, I'm going to say that I meant you would be a different kind of mad."

"Oh well," Tay said. "Least I'm not normal."

"You'd be useless though."

"More use than you'll ever be."

"I'm not useless."

"Well what are you good for than?"

"I'm good for spreading knowledge, as I work at a library."

"That works so well with your other occupation," Taylor said breathlessly. She wasn't really getting enough oxygen.

Lani shrugged.
