I'm Guessing You Can't Always Win

"Ah my head," Taylor said which started her coughing again, she thought that maybe saying nothing will work more.

Lani frowned. "You know, I almost feel sorry for you," she said.

Taylor gave her a disbelieving look, not wanting to speak.

"No, really," Lani said tilting her head to the side.

Tay raised an eyyebrow.

"But," Lani said with a sigh. "I can't do anything to help you out unless you talk."

Tay made a disbelieving noise. "Like you'd help me if i did talk," She wheezd.e

Lani blinked. "Well, I would. Because, then you wouldn't be getting tortured, or well about to be since the spells will be wearing off in a few hours."

"Leave me alone," Taylor slurred. Regan looked at her. "And why would we do that?" She asked with a smirk.

"It's sort of our job not to leave you alone."

"Need a new job then," Tay muttered. "I like this one," Reg said. "It's interesting."

"This job is entertaining and sort of impossible to quit," Lani added.

"And we'd rather not die so," Reg said with asmirk. "You're pathetic," Tay said softly.

"Pathetic? Excuse me?"

Regan raised an eyebrow at her. She walked over, pulled the girl to her feet pointing her wand into Taylor's throat. "Would you like to repeat that?" She asked her eyes gleaming darkly. "You're pathetic," Taylor repeated, her voice a little stronger. "Am I now?" Regan asked her, she dropped the girls arm and took a few steps away, before suddenly turning on her foot and throwing her wand arm out at her. Casting a spell. Taylor flew back into the wall, her head thumping back into it with a nasty sounding thud, though Taylor was still conscious.

Lani couldn't help but to wince at the thud sound. "Regan does not take insults well," she explained with a slight smirk.

Taylor's head hurt too much to respond. She was in a crumpled sort of heap on the ground and whimpered slightly.

"So, Reg," Lani said, ignoring Taylor's state, "what should we do until we can really start working to get her to talk? Chess really isn't going anywhere."

"Would not know," Regan said conjuring herself a comfy chair and sitting down on it.

Lani made a hm noise before conjuring up a couch-bed. "I'm taking a nap. I slept dreadfully."

"Hm," Taylor replied her eyes flickering to Taylor's slumped form on the floor. She smirked.

Lani stretched out on the couch-bed and closed her eyes.

Regan glanced at Taylor, and then smirked slightly. Casting a spell that stopped the girl from falling asleep. "Have a nice rest Tay," She said with a smirk leaning back on the char.

Lani got comfortable and then fell asleep.

Taylor shut her eyes, trying to drift off. She was tired. But found that she couldn't, maybe she was just having a hard time falling asleep. Though she wondered if the Death Eaters had done anything to stop her from sleeping.
