I'm Guessing You Can't Always Win

Sometime later Lani woke back up and stretched, looking over at Taylor who seemed to be at the final stages of the spells.

Taylor had her arms around her chest, and her head leaning onto her knees on the floor. Her eyelids were hardly open and it was taking quite a lot of effort just to breath. The spell pushing harder down on her chest, stopping air getting easily through.

"How are you feeling?" Lani asked.

"Perfect," Tay said breathlessly with some effort sitting up, though she leane dback into the wall. Keeping her eyes open wasn't easy though.

"Good. Your appearance made me worry for a moment."

Regan smirked slightly. "Well if you are in such a good mood, than maybe we're not doing our job ey? Perhaps we should try a little harder?"

Lani nodded along with Regan.

"So," Regan said, she got up and paced about the room. "ANy ideas?" She smirked.

"Once the current spells wear off you could use that spell of yours that stops breathing completely and hold it on her until she's about ready to pass out, unless she agrees to talk. And repeat a few times, without actually letting her pass out or anything," Lani suggested. "Although, if I'm not mistaken, you put a spell on her were she can't go unconscious, which is all the better."

"Well she won't fall unconious until she dies, but than that's dead not unconious." She smirked. "What do you think there Morace? Want to give up infomation now? Or should we wait until you're nearly dead?" Taylor mumbled something Regan couldn't understand.

"Well, get to it then," Lani said. "I'm bored."

Reg flicked her wand cutting off Taylors breathing. Taylor tried to gasp for air but couldn't, unable to get any into her lungs. When things nearly started going black Reg relented on the spell allowing the girl half a moment to catch her breath before she recast it.

Lani watched as Regan did so. "C'mon Taylor, all you have to do is agree to talk, by just nodding at us or something, and she'll stop. I know you probably like being able to breathe after all."

Taylor lay on the floor, struggling to breath. This was going to continue until she dropped dead or gave infomation. She wondered if the two maniacs would find a way to keep her alive. She souldn't exploit the order though, because then more people would end up in her position.But, she, she couldn't take it. She forced her head to nod, which was hard as she had no energy.

Lani raised her eyebrow. "Did you just nod?" she asked, not sure if Taylor had or not.

Taylor nodded again,her body shaking.

Lani looked over at Regan.

Reg ended the spell.

"So," Lani said, looking at Taylor.

Taylor gasped for air, it felt nice to be able to breath again and breath properly. For a few moments as she regained steady breathing she forgot about her other aches and pains.

Once Taylor had finished up her gasping and such, Lani cleared her throat impatiently.

"Give me a moment," Taylor slurred so it sounded like a whole bunch of wordless mumbling. Just because she could breath didn'tmake everything else easier, she was still rather out of it. "What do you want to know?" Tay asked softly.

"Simple. I want to know everything you know."

"I don't know much, and a lot of what I do know I physically can't tell you."

"Try."
