I'm Guessing You Can't Always Win

"Does it really matter?" Regan asked her.

"Well, seeing as you were meant to be helping me out here, yes."

"Like you havn't only been standing there a minute," Regan said with an eyeroll. Her eyes flickered to Taylor and she grinned wickedly. "Guess we should start ey?"

"I've definitely been standing here longer than a minute. I was here long enough to have a conversation with her," Lani muttered angrily. "But, yes, we should start."

Regan rolled her eyes, sitting on the ground on the other side of the room. "So, heres how it works, and right now I really don't have the patience to beat around the bush. You are going to tell us what we need to know, or, well, we'll see just how nasty us two can be." She twirled her wand about her fingers. "Wow, I'm scared." Tay said with an eyeroll.

"Well, you should be scared," Lani said, usual smirk crossing her face easily. "Because, we can both be very nasty people."

"Yeah well," Taylor yawned and shrugged.

Lani scowled at Taylor's obvious disinterest, and she brandished her wand, casting a spell at the girl, knocking Tay back into the far wall with more force than was really necessary.

"Ow," Taylor said her head throbbing. She rubbed at it. "Yeesh,banging into walls isn't fun you know."

"Don't play games with me," Lani hissed.

"But that's the fun part."

Lani's eyes narrowed. "Reg, care to start the interrogating before I end up knocking her out again or killing her?"

Taylor grinned. Regan rolled her eyes at the girl sitting on the ground crosslegged on the other side of the room. She somewhat wondered where she'd left her ball, as she liked to throw that up and down. "This is your last warning before things get nasty, agree to tell us what you know and no-one gets hurt. Well, not badly at least." Tay rolled her eyes. "Yeah sure, I believe you."

"Well, if you're not going to take our nice offer, we can get mean about it."

Regan looked at her a moment, and when the girl didn't say anything she grinned. Turning her wand on the girl she murmered an incantation at the girl. Which gave her a mild headache, though it would slowly start to get worse as time went on.

"Now," Lani said, "I can add to her spell, or you can give over some information. Your choice."

"I'm not giving over infomation, not that I know much regardless."

"You're going to give over what you know if we have any say in the matter," Lani said, flourishing her wand and adding her chest compressing spell to the headache one from Regan.

Taylor scrunched up her nose, shutting her eyes. She curled her arms around her chest.

"C'mon," Lani said. "Just spit something out. Give us information and we'll take the spells away. It's not hard."

"You're idiots," Tay said. "If you think im going to exploit the order."

"Well, it's that and quick painless death, or you get tortured until you tell and then it'll just be a painful, slow death."

"Aren't you lovely."

"I'm a Death Eater. Comes with the job."

"Makes sense," Tay said. Frowning slightly at the pain in her head and stomach.
