"Deal with it," Lucy muttered but she got up and opened the door.

"I really am sorry you know," Lyall said, but the way she said it made it seem like she had more to say, even though she didn't say anything else.

"But," Ly continued, apparently having decided the rest of what she had to say was worth it, "that doesn't mean I don't still prefer death over this. It just means I won't actually try for it."

"Do you still want me to leave?"

Lucy shrugged.

"That's not much of an answer."

She shrugged again.

"Lucy Prince, give me a verbal yes or no answer."

"You don't know if you want me to leave or not?" Lyall asked confused.

"That makes no sense..."

"Eh," She shrugged.

"I'm supposing that means you don't actually want me to go..."

"Maybe?" Lucy asked wit yet another shrug. She sat down on her bed.

"I'm sorry for dragging you into this. You don't even need to be here."

"Yeah..." Luce said, twirling her hair.

"Maybe I should go...." Lyall muttered.
