Just a day like any.

The teacher looked at his students with an exasperated sigh. "Clear up your things," He said with a sigh. "We will continue this lesson next week. Mr. Potter and Mr. Black would you please wait behind?" Demi's smile widened. Perfect. She'd managed to get Potter and Black into trouble along with it.

Drew waited until they had left the classroom to give Demi a grin and a high five. "Okay, even I admit that was pretty awesome. You're lucky Potter and Black were blamed."

Demi grinned at him as she high fived him back. "Of course it was awesome," She said with a laugh. "Best idea I have ever. had. Ever. And Potter and Black getting blamed was just the icing on top of the cake."

Drew shook his head. "They're going to get you back for that, you know. They have ties to Peeves as well."

Demi grinned mischievously at him. "I know they do," She said twirling her paint covered hair around her finger. "But I reckon they lack some of my originality," She winked at him. "Besides, it's a lot harder to get caught when there is one of you. Not four."

Drew sighed. "Make that two. If you're going to get yourself killed, I might as well try to help you exercise SOME discretion."

Demi grinned brightly at him. "Love ya Drew," She said blowing him a kiss. "And just for that, I will refrain from making you the victim in my next dastardly plan."

Drew sighed, resigned. "Well, the good news is, although there are four of them, only two of them are going to do anything. Pettigrew has no brains in that poor little skull of his, and Lupin is above it all."

"Lupin comes up with some good ideas when he's roped in though," Demi mused. "And if we're lucky Pettigrew might muck up some plan if he's brought into it. I do say, our chances are much better than theirs."

Drew assessed the situation. "I don't think Lupin will get involved this time. Too shady. You remember the infamous prank week? He stayed out of it. As for Pettigrew, he's hopeless. The main plotting prowess comes from Black and Potter. Potter has the reasoning and logistics while Black has a flair for the dramatic. You and I have that covered, easily."

"Perfect!" Demi exclaimed. "Wonderful. We, need to plot," She said with a nod at him. "Cause no doubt they'll try and get back at me soon. Cause they're Gryffindors, and you may have noticed, but we don't have any patience." She grinned. "THis is great."

Drew shook his head. "You Gryffindors. We Ravenclaws are much smarter about these things."

"However, we already know what they'll start off with. Dungbombs."

"Such creative people," Demi said with a shake of her head. "At least they can't get into the girl's dorms. That's something we have over them. I can get into the guy's dorms if I need to." She grinned cheekily.

Drew grinned. "We have things mapped out, right? Who sleeps where and all that jazz? I'm lucky I'm a Ravenclaw, and only Lupin would be smart enough to get into Ravenclaw tower. Then again, they'll probably leave me out of this at first."

Demi nodded. "Yep we do, all of that mapped out. They'll probably keep you out of it yeah, until they realize that you in on this with me. That's the problem with your tower," She said. "It doesn't have a person to know whether or not it's someone in your house trying to get in."

Drew sighed. "But with your house, anyone who knows the password can just waltz in. For us, you have to have logic and reasoning and intelligence. It's much more efficient in keeping out the duds."

Demi shook her head. "Yeah, but the fatlady isn't going to let the other houses in is she? That's the whole point of HAVING a password in the first place. Otherwise we'd all just waltz in into everyone elses common rooms. You know, one thing the Marauders have going for them is a Prefect."

Drew sighed. "That's true, they do have a prefect. But I'm a Ravenclaw. Lupin and I are both associated with troublemakers. In fact, I think he's the one of the lot I'd get along with best. He seems a reasonable bloke. As for the Fat Lady, she doesn't care if you're in her house or not, as long as you have the right password."

Demi gave him an odd look. "I can imagine you two standing there talking while the rest of us are blowing things up." She shook her head. "But landing me in detention would be comepletely unsportmanlike for a prank war. He'd know that having been hanging out with Potter and Black. So we should be alright. I also, really don't understand why other houses just don't follow Gryffindors, and eavesdrop on the password." She shrugged.

Drew sighed. "Because it's entirely too easy. Besides, I think that's the way it is with Slytherin, too. I don't know about Hufflepuff. No one really wants to invade Hufflepuff, anyway. Ravenclaw is probably the hardest house to break into, I've always thought. And I agree--Lupin would not interfere. He'll stay out of it."

Demi nodded. "This is good," She said. "I do believe that we have the upperhand here, wonderful. I wonder what the other common rooms are like." She mused.

Drew grinned. "I've seen yours and mine. As for Slytherin's, it's in the dungeons. It's dark and dank outside, but rather luxurious inside, or so I've heard." Drew tacked on the last bit quickly, as if he had almost forgot it at first. As if he was covering something up.

Demi nodded. "Yeah, I've seen ours too. Wonder what Hufflpuff is-" She stopped and looked at him. "What was that about Slytherin's?" She asked him.

Drew smiled innocently. "Oh, nothing. Just word on the street, you know."

Demi narrowed her eyes. "Andrew," She said warningly. "Tell me. Now."
