Just a day like any.

Drew scowled. "Not fair, not fair, not fair."

Demi winked at him. "And whoever said life was fair Andrew dear?" She asked him.

Drew pouted. "I'll sit on the other side of the room, you know, next to my Ravenclaw friends."

"You have freinds?" Demi asked her tone mocking. "How peculiar." She gave him an earnest look. "You're not going to leave me here on my own are you?" She asked him.

Drew carefully constructed his face to show his utter seriousness. "If you try to drag me into this, then yes."

Demi narrowed her eyes. "Fine then," She said crossing her arms. "You go sit with your, bor-ing, Ravenclaw 'friends'." She turned her head away from him.

Drew sighed. He hated fighting with Demi, but every once in a while, he had to put his foot down. There was no way around it.

Demi peeked out of the corner of her eye to see what he was doing.

Drew made sure he did not look at Demi as he walked over to the Ravenclaw side of the room, picking a seat in the middle of the middle row.

Although he wasn't watching Demi poked her tongue out at him. She wondered what time it was. It couldn't be too long now...

Drew noticed Demi fidgeting. Crap. Whatever it was was coming soon.

Demi tapped her fingers on the table. "Perfect," She muttered under her breath when she heard peeves's loud voice in the corridor. The teacher looked up irritated at the noise outside, a look which increased tenfold when the classroom door swung open. And the poltergeist swooped in.

Drew was flabbergasted. "Peeves?" he mouthed to Demi. That was really quite impressive, even by her standards.

Demi glanced at him and winked, watching amused as Peeves swooped around the classroom, ignoring the teacher ordering it to get out and causing books to fly into the air, while he hummed some annoying tune. She grinned, and moved her hand to hide it.

Drew tried hard not to grin. Demi had really outdone herself this time. Not many people could get Peeves to join in on a prank.

When the Professor threatened to get the Headmaster Peeves swooped out, but not before he dropped a collection of paintbombs on the classmates. Demi who had somewhat seen that coming darted under the desk with her bag before she could get splattered in paint.

Once Drew knew that Demi was up to something, he took cover. He was glad he did--Peeves was armed with paintbombs. Drew knew this would merit detention, if Dem got caught.

Scooping paint into her hand Demi pulled it through part of her hair and moved back onto her chair, watching with amusement at the squeeling girls in her class about the fact that they were covered in paint.

Drew watched as Demi put paint in her hair, so as to not get caught. "Clever little bugger," Drew muttered to himself. He promptly did the same, although he was not nearly as messy about it as Demi was.

The teacher looked at his classroom in despair, covered in paint and full of both squealing, amused and confused children. He tried to catch the attention of the students, but they were too caught up with what had just happened to pay any attention to the teacher standing up at the front.

Drew grinned. Demi, knowing her, would probably start a paint fight, soon. It was inevitable.

Scooping up one of the half splattered paint balls Demi flung it into the middle of the cluster of girls. Finding another she threw it into the direction of the Gryffindor boys, who suddenly seemed inspired to start throwing and covering each other in paint.

Drew sighed. No big surprise, there. However, since he was getting covered in paint from the missiles threw from everyone else, he decided to join in. Might as well.

By the time the Professor managed to get everyone's attention by magically making his voice louder the whole class was covered in paint. Demi grinned, as she pushed her now red hair back behind her ear.

Drew grinned. He was tempted to wink at Demi from across the room, but that might implicate both of them. Both seemed to silently agree that it was best to pretend they knew nothing.
