Just a day like any.

Demi grinned at him. "Ohh, that was fun though," she sighed mock mournfully. "Pity it didn't work. First years are horrible at potions, worse than I am, I dunno of that is even possible."

Drew shook his head. "I was just glad you did not involve me in that plot. Didn't he try to recruit you for the slug club or something? I heard rumors about that for months."

"Haha," she laughed. "He tried, I went once, boringest thing I have ever done in my life. Which counts potions class for that matter," she rolled her eyes. "And so I walked out, with a bang," she added with a wink.

Drew groaned. "I am almost afraid to ask, but... what did you do, Demi?"

Demi said nothing but just smiled sweetly at him. "You mustn't have been listening to very informative rumours there Andrew."

Drew mock grimaced. "I didn't really want to know at the time."

Demi just grinned at him. "I'm sure you'd figure it out if thought hard enough."

Drew shrugged. "If you're going to make me guess, I don't want to know."

Demi shrugged also. "Well, that means I can reuse it as another idea when the need arises. Perfect."

Drew grinned. "No you can't, Dem. Other people have already heard about it, I'm sure."

Demi sighed. "Its so much work thinking up ideas people haven't heard of. Maybe i could use muggle tricks and balance buckets of water on top of doors."

Drew grinned. "I could research muggle tricks if you want, as long as I do not have to take part in any of this." Drew had always been interested in the muggle world, and it seemed like a good excuse to get out of helping Demi with her pranks.

"Yay!" Demi smiled at him. "Perfect. Because I don't wanna have to research, because research is generally boring."

Drew shook his head, grinning. "How are we even friends?"

"I dunno, I've wondered that. You probably lost you sense for a couple of minutes and BAM you were stuck with me."

Drew pondered it for a second. "That is entirely possible. We have been friends for so long that I have probably forgotten."

"And I probably thought being friends with a Ravenclaw was a clever idea, I dunno why," she said cheekily.

"We Ravenclaws have proved far more useful than you would imagine, eh?"

"Indeed you have, I'm quite surprised really."

Drew grinned, both amused and surprised. Demi must be a good mood for her to actually admit how useful Ravenclaws were. "We're much better than you Gryffindors, you know."

"Pfft," Demi said. "Untrue, You wouldn't get anything done. You'd sit around and plan. And get no-where."

Drew laughed. "I'd come up with a lot of awesome plans, though, you would have to admit."

"Yeah, but they'd just be plans. You wouldn't have the fun of executing them."

"I would every once in a while. I can name quite a number of our best pranks that I designed and headed the execution of."

Demi grinned. "Care to execute the next lot?"
