Just a day like any.

Drew frowned. "I don't know... I think I might save up a bit for another big one."

"Come on Drew, these have to be big! We're running against the Marauders here. My reputation is at stake."

"I can help with planning?"

"Hmm," she thought. "Alright. But if I need your help, you have to help me. Okay?"

Drew narrowed his eyes. "I feel like I should ask what I get out of this. I am in a suspicious mood. How long have we been friends?"

Demi grinned at him. "We've been friends forever and ever, so you could help me because you are a lovely person."

Drew's eyes did not widen any, but his voice took on a joking tone. "This sounds very fishy. I am going to tentatively agree, but I am watching you..."

"I don't think things can sound fishy Drew," she said seriously. "Fish don't have a sound. Unless you count...what sounds do fish make?"

Drew thought for a second. "Probably bubbling ones, really. Air has to pass in and out of their gills, so whatever noise that makes... also, swishing, from their tails moving around in the water, and flopping and gasping noises for when they are removed from said water."

"...right, so, that's a fishy sound. And I don't hear that."

"I hear hoards of people gasping in horror, like a beached fish... although it is not really horror, but more lack of oxygen, but you know...."

Demi shook her head. "You're silly."

Drew grinned. "Of course. That's why you love me."

"Who said anything about me loving you?" she asked him.

Drew grinned mischievously. "I am sure you have, sometime within the last few days."

Demi poked out her tongue. "Well, meh," she said wrinkling her nose.

Drew laughed. "So, plotting..."

"Yes plotting! Any ideas?"

"...not yet. I am getting there."

"Okay," she said brightly. 'They'll probably try and get me back soon," she mused.

Drew agreed. "I would say sometime in the next few days, probably."

Demi nodded. "I would think so, if not sooner, they can be a bit rash those Gryffindors," she said.

Drew looked at Demi, shaking his head. "You're a rash Gryffindor, too, you know. You just have me to straighten you out a bit."

"Me? Rash Gryffindor?" she gave him a confused look. "Whatever do you mean Andrew?"

"I mean that you are a rash Gryffindor, Demi," Drew said quite honestly. "It's probably a good thing, really. We have someone on our side who knows how the Marauders think."
