Just a day like any.

"I'm warding my room," Drew said. "In fact, I'm warding the entire Ravenclaw corner of the castle. If you Gryffindors come anywhere near it, I shall go lock myself in my dormitory." Drew was partially joking and partially serious.

"Maybe you should walk around with an umbrella?" she suggested with a grin. "Just in case anything falls from the ceiling... I wonder what I can make fall from the ceiling..."

"No." Drew said. "Not when I'm in the room, Demi." He couldn't help but grin a little, but he was still a bit worried. He didn't want to get involved in the mess with the Marauders, because messes with the Marauders were always messy.

She sighed. "Fiiine,I think perhaps it is time to leave the Gryffindor common room before the marauders come back with water pistols."

Drew smiled. "I definitely agree with that. I think it's about time for us to take off. Marauders with water pistols is terrifying."

"Not terrifying, just annoying! I don't want to get wet," she wrinkled her nose and grabbed his hand pulling him out of the chair. "Where shall we go off too Mr Andrew?" she asked linking her arm with his.

"I vote for retreating to Ravenclaw. We shall be nice and safe there, for the time being."

"Until they kick me out, cause they can't study," she tacked on.

"So you'll just have to be fairly quiet, then. It's not THAT hard," Drew teased. "Even you Gryffindors can figure it out."

"I don't see why you need to spend all your time studying!" she protested. "But I suppose I can be quiet. For a while. Maybe."

"Sounds good," Drew said triumphantly. "If you get too loud, we can hang out in one of the secret passageways, too."

"As long as you don't drag me along to the library, I don't care where we hide." They headed off to Ravenclaw.

Drew grinned. "Now I know what to do when you annoy me..."

"And I'll get you kicked out of the library if you try," she warned waggling her finger. "The librarian will be so annoyed she'll kick us both out, and you'll have to get your Ravenclaw friends to smuggle you out books."

"You wouldn't dare get me kicked out of the library." Drew looked like a kicked puppy. "That's like... that's murder, Demi."

"Well don't drag me off to the library and I won't... unless you be mean."

Drew pouted. "You're so mean, Demi. That's mean."

"You're mean," she said, with a grin. "You know what I don't like about your common room, that it isn't a password. That'd be much easier when I try to sneak in. When I know the password."

"There's a reason there's no password," Drew said, grinning. "And it is precisely that."

Demi pouted. "You Ravenclaws are so mean to the rest of us. Just because we can't answer riddles..." she grumbled.

"We're not mean. We just like to keep our common room to ourselves." Drew grinned.

"So, you are mean," she said with a firm nod. They reached the door to the common room.

"We aren't mean," Drew insisted. "The only house nicer than us is Hufflepuff!"

Demi snorted. "Well you aren't as mean as SLytherin, I'll give you that one. But you are certainly not nicer than us Gryffindors."

"It depends on the Ravenclaw. I know that I am certainly smarter than some of you Gryffindors, but we do have a few Ravenclaws who missed their lessons on how to be a decent human being."
