"Can you trust me now?"

"Can I?" Cassie asked her, rolling over so she could look at her properly.

"I said that was for you to choose. Do you think you can?"

"And I asked you, because I don't know. You asking if I can trust you doesn't work, because I really don't know anymore. But, should I be able to trust you, is a better question."

"Well, then are you able to?"

"I was asking you Lyss, do you think I should be able to trust you?"

"I hope you should."

Cassie laughed slightly. "Lyssa dear, you're a contradiction to yourself."

"That would be because I'm sort of dizzy right now."

"Which would be because you haven't eaten wouldn't it?"

Lyssa nodded. "That would be it, yeah."

"So do you think it might be a good idea to eat something then?"

"Probably."

"So?"

"So...?"

"Food?"

"Yeah."

Cassie got up, dumping her book onto her bed and turning off her ipod. "To the kitchen," She said under her breath in a slight sing-song voice.

Lyssa followed behind her.

"What do you want?" Cassie asked Lyss upon reaching the kitchen.

"Anything."

"Cereal? Bread? Uhm, popcorn, fruit" Cassie opened the cardboard. "What else do we have in here. "Canned crap, some other crap. Ooh chocolate."

"Just...pick something. I don't care what."

"Popcorn it is, cause I want that too." She grabbed the popcorn seed things and the machine and poured the seeds into the machine and turned it on. "And noww we wait."

"Now you are just torturing me."
