"Huh?"

"I'm starving and you're making me wait."

"Eat an apple then, or some chocolate, or some bread. Or something pre-made that;s in the cardboard. Unless you want to eat popcorn seeds."

"You're horrible. Oh well, I've waited a day. I can wait a matter of minutes longer."

Cassie hummed as she waited for the popcorn. "Butter," She said grabbing it out of the frige, getting a slab into a bowl and sticking it into the microwave to melt it. A few minutes later the girls had a big bowl of popcorn.

Lyssa grabbed a handful, not caring that it was still hot.

Cassie did too, shoving most of that handful into her mouth in the one shot.

"Cass.....I'm sorry."

Cassie whose mouth was too full of popcorn made a vague gesture with her hand. She swallowed the popcorn and looked at Lyss. "I'd say it's fine but," She sighed and picked up more popcorn. "It's not really. You can't do things like that to yourself Lyss, you scare the hell out of me."

"I know," Lyssa said, looking around for a glass that was just randomly sitting around, but not finding one, "I just...I dunno."

"Cardboard," Cassie said pointing to it. She shrugged at her. "We'll work it out," She said eating more popcorn.

"Thank you," Lyssa said bouncing over to it.

"Get me one," She said.

"Get it yourself," Lyssa said, already having grabbed a glass and headed to the sink to gulp down a glass of water in a matter of seconds.

"Boo you," Cassie said walking over and grabbing one. "Hmm, juice," She said pulling open the fridge door.

"Juice is overrated. Water is amazing," Lyssa said.

"Juice is amazing, don't bag my juice," Cass said as she poured a glass.

"Hush and look at who you just talked to. I'm probably minorly dehydrated, so anything liquid is amazing."

"I'll pour my juice on your head," Cassie muttered as she took a drink before putting the juice back in the fridge.

"I would slap you for it."

"You'd have to catch me first."

"Easy enough. I carry my wand around after all. And, I'm not dizzy anymore. Also, on that note, tell your mom she can stop pretending to care about me."

"I dunno if she's pretending or not though, that's the thing."

"She has to be. No one can avoid someone like she has for a month and then suddenly care again."

Cassie shrugged. "I did."
