Cassie kept her arms around her for a while longer before she withdrew, picking up the bottle and placing the pills back inside it and threw it in the direction of her bed.

Lyssa sunk down to the floor, pulling her knees to her chest and burying her head in them.

Cass sat down next to Lyssa, and wrapped her arms around her again.

"You're going to tell Sam, aren't you?"

Cassie was silent for a few moments. "I'm not sure," She said softly.

"I--I think you should..."

Cassie looked at Lyssa. "Okay," She said softly. "I'll tell her."

Lyssa just nodded.

"Dinner!" Sam called up the stairs. "Coming!" Cassie shouted back.

"Would I get shouted at if I said I wanted to nap instead?" Lyssa asked looking at Cassie.

"Why would you get shouted at?" Cassie asked her frowning slightly.

"You shouted at me earlier for not wanting water..."

"Oh," Cassie said. "I thought you were referring to-never mind," She shook her head slightly. "I'll bring something up with me after though," She said standing up, and grabbing the bottle of pills off of her bed.

"Okay..." Lyssa muttered. "You're never going to trust me again, are you?"

Cassie shrugged at her. "We'll see," She said gently closing the door behind her as she walked out.

Lyssa got on her bed and curled up into a ball, shutting her eyes and trying to sleep.

"Lyssa's napping," Cassie said to her parents as she sat down. "Cassie dear, why are you holding your sleeping meds?" Sam asked. "Oh," Cassie looked at the bottle in her hand, and then shrugged. "I was fiddling with it when you called us." Sam nodded.

*after dinner*

Lyssa, who had managed to nap for a little while, walked down the stairs.

"Mum," Cassie said once dinner was over. "Can I speak to you for a moment?" Sam nodded, frowning slightly. Taking the cue Henry left the room. "Yes Cassie dear?" "Uh, well there's a reason I was holding my sleeping meds.." Cassie said. Sam frowned softly. "Cassie.." "No, I'm fine. Kind of. But no. It's not me. Lyssa, was uhm," Cassie glanced at her feet. "Going to purposely uh, overdose."

Lyssa, who had been about to step foot in the kitchen, stepped back into the hall, out of view.

Sam's eyes widened. "Is she alright?" She asked Cassie, biting down on her lip. "I think so," Cassie replied softly, turning the bottle in her hands, listening to the sounds of the pills falling from one side to the other.

"I didn't swallow any, if that's what you meant," Lyssa said, walking in the kitchen, tired of eavesdropping.

Cassie jumped slightly at Lyssa's voice. "Nap well?" Cassie asked her, biting down on her lip.
