Cassie and Lyssa AE 6

"What are you doing?" He asked Lyssa completly ignoring Cassie. "Where's my hello?" Cassie asked him mock pouting.

"Just what the hell does it look like I'm doing Draco?" Lyssa asked him, as he kept ignoring Cassie.

Draco flustered but said nothing and Cassie looked at her watch. "We'll be late for Dark Arts if we don't leave soon." Cassie said. "and I don't want to miss that class today either." She smiled wickedly.

"M'kay," Lyssa muttered, "lemme grab some food first, will ya? I haven't eaten yet, as I had to wait for you to leave eariler to get ready."

"M'kay," Cassie said and then looked at Draco. "Yes Draco we know you hate Muggles, you can leave now and go and sulk to someone else." The Slytherin scowled and stalked off muttering.

Lyssa ended up eating a few pancakes. "M'kay, shall we go?"

"Sure," Cassie said brightly. The two girls walked off to Dark Arts smiling slightly. Cassie was going over in her head what she planned to say and hoped she didn't muddle it up because she didn't want to look like an idiot while trying to pull the rug out of someone elses feet."

The two girls got to class and sat down in their normal seats. Lyssa expected Cassie to do something once class started like she had the day before in Muggle Studies.

Cassie waited until she thought it was a perfect time to intervine. She raised her hand like she had the time in Muggle studies and the Carrow glanced at her. "Yes Miss. Evans?" "Can I say something Professor?" Cassie asked with a gleam in her eyes. Obviously thinking that there was nothing Cassie could use to connect the Dark Arts and Muggles together the Carrow said yes but was still looking at Cassie suspiciously. Cassie hadn't been able to come up with a way to connect the two but did have another thing to say to make the Carrow doubt the Dark Arts. Cassie smiling to herself stood up. "Alright, we've been told since we started here at Hogwarts and even some of us because Hogwarts that there are two sides, good and evil and there are two types of spellwork. Light and Dark. Which is utter rubbish, just because a spell canbe used for evil doesn't make you evil if you use it, because it can also be used for good. and Visa Versa. Take wingardium leviosa for example, sure you can use it to make your pen on the other side of the room fly to you. But you can also use it to knock someone on the head with a bat. It depends on how you use the spells that magic them 'good' or 'evil'." Cassie glanced at the Carrow and with another small smile sat down.

Lyssa had been right to expect something, but eh it didn't live up to yesterday's speech about Muggles. "Impressive, but not as epic as yesterday's," she muttered.

"It's a harder topic to talk about," Cassie whispered back. "I grew up as a Muggle so I know their technology and can compare it, and Dark Arts really is kinda difficult to talk about." She glanced at the Carrow who was looking considerably flustered as he continued to teach.

"I suppose you have a point there..." Lyssa muttered. "It would have been awesome if it had been as epic though... I can just imagine the looks on everyone's faces if it had. Do you suppose Snape's gonna do anything now that we're both out of dress code? Besides take points I mean..."

"I don't know, he might do something about my 'disrupting' the class though." On their way to Transfiguration the two girls did indeed 'bump' into the Headmaster. "Fifty points from Gryffindor for being out of dress code and Miss. Evans if you disturb class one more time you will get a Det. Understand?" Without even waiting for a nod he walked off. "He knew I'd disrupted class pretty quickly." Cassie said watching him walk off and she shrugged. "Honestly I don't care about House points anymore, we were never gonna win with Snape in charge anyway."

"Yeah there's not a chance we'd win, but you haven't been disrupting anything. You've registering your opinion which last I check didn't earn one a detention." Lyssa said.

"It's Snape," Cassie said with a shrug as they entered Transfiguration. "He never plays fair." McGonagall took one look at the girls as she walked into the classroom and shook her head smiling. "Those two," She said. Cassie grinned. "Anyway, I brang my praticle joke book from home that I used a few times in Primary school which I thought would be useful if I'm, we're going to fight back like Muggles."

"Oh that sounds like fun," Lyssa commented as the class began. " Anything in particular in mind?"

"Theres one where you fill up a bucket with whatever, put it on top of an ajar door so whoever opens the door the bucket of whatever it is falls on top of the person who opened the door." Cassie said and frowned trying to think of more.

"That sounds painful if you get hit by the bucket..."

Cassie smiled. "Who cares, it's the Carrows. A few of them can get really messy, there's one in there that really just involves putting honey over like everything but they're fun."

"Sounds rather idiotic if you ask me..."

"Lyssa," Cassie said with a shake of her head. "Practicle jokes generally are, but they nusense whoever you are doing them to."

Lyssa shrugged. "I dunno. It just sounds...bleh to me. They sound fun and all but I dunno..." She shrugged again.

Cassie shrugged. "You don't need to do it if you don't want to." She frowned. "I think I have some presure sensored explosive dust stuff in a container in my bag that I brought with me aswell." She smiled slightly. "That'll be fun."

"I don't even want to know..." Lyssa muttered. "But this time I am helping you, no matter how stupid it seems." She looked at Cassie. "It's what a best friend would do, and that's what I am. Your best friend."

The next half a week proceded in Cassie and Lyssa doing whatever they could to annoy the Carrows but only in a way that Muggles could do it. They were also losing points daily for wearing Muggle clothings and Cassie was pleased to see that other peoplein Gryffindor and some in other houses were following the trend. Even a Slytherin, Lucy Prince, though as far as Cassie could tell she was the only one. It took the Carrows a while to figure out exactly what was happening when they got bombared by whatever the girls had planned and the girls were once more dragged to Snape's office.
