Cassie and Lyssa AE 6

After breakfast the two girls got woken up, as much as they still didn't want to be. Even the extra hour or so of sleep hadn't helped with the exhaustion. Cleaning was a tiring thing to do. What Lyssa really wanted was about ten hours of sleep.

"What class do we have?" Cassie asked Nix brushing her robes down, she'd slept in them so hadn't needed to change them, she couldn't be bothered changing them either. "Transfiguration," Nix said. "Fun," Cassie muttered with a yawn. "Well come on, let's go before McGonagall kills us."

"Do we have to?" Lyssa, who had rolled over and burrowed under her bed covers, asked in a tired voice.

Cassie yawned. "Yes, unless we want bothSnape and McGonagall annoyed at us for skipping." She yawned again and pulled a brush through her hair.

Lyssa stuck her head from under her cover with an annoyed glare. Then with a sigh a moment later, she got up, actually bothering to change into unwrinkled robes. She brushed down her hair with her fingers, thankful it was short and didn't tangle easily. She wasn't in the mood to bother with a brush. "M'kay...let's go..."

Cassie nodded and the girls made their way to class Cassie thinking that the ammount of sleep she nad Lyss were getting was going to get smaller as the week proceded. McGonagall ignored the two girls falling asleep at ther back of her classroom, she knew they had Detension with the headmaster and it was only a revising lesson anyway.

The whole week went by in a tired blur.

The girls last detension was on a saturday so Cassie took the liberatly to sleep till about two the next morning. Yawning she sat up and looked over to see Lyss who had also just woken up.

"Would you be offended if I said we are not in this together anymore?" Lyssa asked, sitting up and looking at Cassie.

"No, I don't want you hurt because of my stupidity."

"You're not stupid. You're just...determined," Lyssa said.

Cassie smiled. "Alright I'm determined, although," She said. "I might wait until I feel refreashed again."

"You do that then," Lyssa muttered. "I'm going back to sleep. I'm not used to all that work..."

Cassie smiled again. It took another week for Cassie to get annoyed enough to do something else, she glanced at Lyssa before their Muggle studies class and said. "I'm gonna cause some mayhem just to warn you if you want to sit on the other side of the room or something..." She shrugged.

"M'kay," Lyssa replied.

"Lyssa didn't do anything Professor," Cassie said to Snape half an hour later as the two girls were once again standing in his office. Snape just raised his eyebrow at her disbelievingly.

"Honestly, professor," Lyssa said, hoping she looked completely sincere. "I've learned my lesson."

Snape flickered a glance at Lyssa and then said. "Alright Miss Malfoy you may return to class." Before he turned back to Cassie. "Miss Evans you have two weeks dentention, at the usaull time and place. Return to class." Cassie didn't need telling twice though her didn't seem as angry as he had on previous times, he just sounded bored now, as if punishing the girls was now a boring task for him to undertake.

Lyssa left before hearing Cassie's punishment, so she hung around outside the office to ask afterwards. "More detention?" she asked as soon as she saw Cassie.

"Yep," Cassie nodded then made a face. "Two weeks." She sighed. "Ah well, I'll live." They slowly mae their way through the halls so by the time they got to the classroom the bell was about to go so they could turn around and walk to theirnext class.

"I feel bad now...What do you think you'll have to do, or whatever?"

Cassie shrugged. "Don't feel bad, I accepted the consequenced when I sent the class into Choas and I have no idea." She frowned. "Guess I'll find out in a few hours."

"Still feel bad, you should know me well enough by now to expect this though..." Lyssa muttered.

Cassie shook her head. "I'll be fine and If I'm not it's not your fault, even if you tried you wouldn't have convinced me not to do it." The hours flew past and Cassie found herself outside Snape's office wondering what he had in store for the girl this time. Instead of leading her up into his office he led the Gryffindor to one of the Carrow's offcies.

As soon as Cassie was gone for her detention, Lyssa realized she didn't have anything to occupy her time besides homework. Bleh. She still felt sort of bad that Cassie was there alone too...
