Cassie and Lyssa AE 6

"You don't need to but I'm doing something."

"No, we're best friends, we're in this together. You do something, then so am I."

"Alright, now lets go and annpy some Carrow."

Lyssa smiled at her as the two walked in the classroom.

Cassie and Lyssa found themselves in Snape's office half an hour latter having quote succesfully send the class into havoc. "Do you two never learn?" He snarled making Cassie flinch and invulenterily take a step back.

"Apparently not, professor," Lyssa replied.

Cassie snickered as Snape glowered at both girls, his face was livid. "Not only are you stopping your own learning you are stopping others-" Cassie yawned and glanced at him. "What learning Professor? the only two classes we disturb are the ones in which no-one is learning anything anyway. It's not going to help me get a job or save my life if I can kill something with deadly fire."

"Well actually that might save your live..." Lyssa muttered, not really helping the situation. "But aside from that she has the a valid point. It's not like we're interupting anything important."

"Silence," Snape hissed and the words that Cassie were about to say died on her tongue. "You are both getting another weeks worth of Detensions. You will report here at five, understood?"

Lyssa opened her mouth to argue, but stopped at a look from Snape. "Yes, sir," she muttered instead, looking off to the side.

"Get back to class." "Yes Sir," Cassie said and quickly exited the room.

Lyssa followed Cassie with a sigh. "Why did we do that again?" she asked once they were far away from the office.

"Cause we're insane Gryffindors?"

"This is true..." Lyssa muttered.

Cassie sighed.

The rest of the day passed by and soon the two girls found themselves standing by a very familiar gargoyle.

Cassie sighed as Snape walked down.

Snape had the two girls go in his office to explain what they were going to be doing thing time around. He said that they would be cleaning the castle, one floor of it per night until all the floor were done and that they couldn't go to bed until he deemed the floor was clean. He also mentioned that this included the suites of armor and other statues. Lastly, he said that they would start from the seventh floor and work their way down, giving them a longer walk to their beds each night.

Cassie very much wanted to punch that bastard in the face. "And all without magic," He said flicking his wand which caused two buckets full ofcleaning stuff to apear. "And I will find out if you do use magic." He opened the door and muttering the two girls walked out making their way up to the seventh floor to start cleaning. "Cleaning, the whole fricken castle. Ugh." Cassie scowled.

"More ugh. People are going to be awake and will see us," Lyssa muttered darkly as they walked up the stairs. "Why did I say we were in this together again?"

"Ah crap," Cassie made a face. "Cause your my freind?"

"Because I'm your best friend, and you're damn lucky I am or you'd be doing this alone."

The girls set off to the seven floor and started cleaning, they got a few jabs but as the people who visited the seventh floor at this time in the afternoon were mostly Gryffindors it wasn't that bad, Cassie just wasn't looking forward to cleaning the ground floor because at around dinner everyone would be around. Snape came and went overseeing it for a little while and then going back to his office. By the time they finished it was well after Midnight and both girls were exhusted. Snape walked around the floor looking around. He nodded deeming it presentable. "You may leave." The girls didn't need telling twice and tiredly hurried to the portrait hole.

Without a word to each other, both girls fell asleep directly after getting to their beds. These detentions were going to be worse than the previous ones, that much was apparent. Just before falling asleep, Lyssa decided that she was most definitely not going to see what Snape could come up with next if they were to get in trouble again.

Cassie fell asleep the moment she got into her bed, not ever bothering to change out of her clothes, she was woken the next morning by Nix again. "After Breakfasr," Was all Cassie muttered before rolling over to try and get some more sleep, she exhuted having gotten about five hours, maybe less, sleep the night before.
