Cassie and Lyssa AE 6

Snape opened his mouth to say something about but Portrait Dumbledore cut across him. "Severus," Cassie flinched at the sterness in his voice. Severus growled and turned on the spot to glower at the two girls. "Fine.: He snarled. "But this is the last straw and I mean it. If you do one more thing, which includs wearing those absurd Muggle clothing, you are both out of here. Now get out of my site." The girls fled.

The two walked up to their common room, where once there Lyssa promptly collapsed onto one of the couches. She was still shaking like a leaf, and didn't trust herself to stay standing without falling over.

Cassie swore sitting down on the couch. "That was close," She muttered and then swore again.

Lyssa buried her head in her hands, clenching her hands in her hair. "Merlin, I've never been so scared in my entire life, and that's even with Voldemort staying at my house, and me being stuck there for a whole summer."

Cassie swore again. She tended to swear a lot after she'd gone through something that made her honestly worried or scared. "I don't think I have either." She ran a hand through her hair. "I think that;s the angriest I have ever seen someone as well. He looked as if he wanted to kill something."

"Do you think he meant it? About how if we screw up one more time he's kicking us both out." Lyssa asked, lifting her head from her hands and looking at Cassie.

"I'm not sure," Cassie said slowly. "But I think he did." She frowned. "Lyssa, I don't think Snape really is a Death Eater, or well his loyalties don't lie there, because otherwise he wouldn't have listened to Dumbledore. He would have just ignored him.."

"Doesn't make him any less frightening though, does it?" Lyssa said. "And I must say, thank Merlin for Dumbledore right now, even though I don't think I ever really liked him too much."

"Yeah.." Cassie nodded. "Dumbledore was an odd one." She sighed and ran another hand through her hair. "Now what?"

"Now? Now, we stay out of trouble, because I have no wish to discover if Snape was serious about that or not."

Cassie sighed. "I suppose so..." Though she wasn't looking forward to it and knowing her patience when it came to the Carrows, not getting into trouble isn't going to last very long.

"He also knows, I think, that even if just one of gets in trouble the other one's going to follow behind her, in trouble or not."

"Yeah," Cassie nodded then scowled. "I hate being useless."

"How are you being useless?"

"Cause I can't do anything, else we'll get kickd out."

"That doesn't make you useless. Our opinions on matters are firmly stated, we just have less power than they do, and so they're holding it over our heads. It's not stopping us from believing in what we do."

"But we can't do anything," Cassie growled. "I would very much like to punch Snapein the face right now but that wouldn't do much good."

"I want to hex him through a wall, which I will do if he so much as tries anything..."

"That would be fun, ow." Cassie rubbed her head again. "Book shelves are hard.." She muttered.

"Well I would imagine, there's wood and books to hit."

"I still don't see what bashing me into a shelf was going to acheive."

"He was probably trying to prove a point, and failed to."

"Yeah, though honestly I'd rather not be on the end of his wand again."

Lyss made a face. "I think that was the point he was trying to prove to me...."

"Though compared to Carrows getting smashed into a bookshelf is actually quite nice."
