Cassie and Lyssa AE 6

Lyssa shrugged. "Wouldn't know that either."

"Lucky you."

"I did say I felt bad about that one though...."

"Not your fault, you didn't do anything."

"Well that's exactly the point isn't it?"

"What?" Cassie asked in a tired daze, even if it was during school hours, Cj is half asleep and so Cassie is aswell.

"The point of my feeling bad about it, is because I didn't do anything that time. I just sat back and let you go it alone."

Two weeks passed without an incident upon leaving a Muggle studies class one day Cassie punched her fist into the wall not caring that it made her fist start bleeding.

"Cass..." Lyssa said looking her friend. "I know you're trying your hardest not to do something stupid, but please don't hurt yourself in the process..."

"I'd prefer to punch the Carrow but that might get me kicked out though knowing Snape I'll probably get kicked out because I got blood on the wall..." She scowled.

"I'd rather you not get yourself kicked out... Because knowing me I'd do something drastic afterward and get myself thrown out or I would walk out after. Either way. And honestly I prefer in here to out there..."

"I don't," Cassie said with a sigh looking down at her bleeding fist.

"Well for me... Out there I have no place to go really. In here at least I have somewhere. Otherwise do you think I would have been as upset as I was back in Snape's office a while back?"

"You could've stayed with me," Cassie said. "Or at my aunts old place which is now my place actually."

Lyssa shrugged at her. "It still wouldn't be a place for me. I'd just be staying there..."

Another week passed and Cassie just managed not to lose her temper and yell herself hoarse at the Carrow's if only just. Her knuckles were fairly bruised by then and Cassie sat down in a Muggle studies class with a hiss.

"You're going to end up with a fractured hand if you don't find some other outlet," Lyssa commented, looking at Cassie's hand.

"I don't care," Cassie hissed. "But if I have to listen to some crap about how Muggles are useless one more time, I really am going to do something."

Lyssa bit her lip, but didn't say anything.

Cassie clenched her fist when the Carrow came in and started 'teaching'. Cassie really wanted to say soemthing snide but even the slightest comment would send her to Snape who would chuck her out. Not that Cassie cared, she didn't give a damn if she got chucked out. But Lyssa did and so Cassie tried to stay calm for Lyssa. Irrited beyond believe halfway through the lesson the Gryffindor just stood up and walked out.

Lyssa spent the class watching from the corner of her eye as Cassie tried to keep herself calm and not do something stupid. It almost worked up until about halfway through when Cassie just got up and walked out of the classroom. Lyssa watched her walk out, as did everyone else.

Cassie sat down outside the classroom and leaned her head on the wall. She scowled, wanting to walk back into the classroom and hit the Carrow on the head with something hard, like a book.

The lesson went on almost as if Cassie hadn't just gotten up and walked out of the room. But the whole time Lyssa couldn't help but wonder to herself if that was going to to be enough to push Snape anyway. The class ended.

Cassie just sat in the corrider as she waited for the bell to ring, she stood up when Lyssa walked out and walked over to her not saying anything.

Lyssa saw Cassie walk over, but didn't even bother asking what the hell that was. She already knew Cassie could only take so much. It was only a matter of time after all until punching walls wouldn't work anymore.
