Cassie and Lyssa AE 6

Let's just say Cassie came out of her Detension a little worse for wear, though a little really was an understandment. The only good thing that came out of the Dentention was that she was out at like eight instead of past midnight like previous nights but Cassie wasn't sure that she could survive two weeks of detension with the Carrows, expecially when Snape told her she was forbidden to go to the Hospital wing to get her injuries healed. Clenching her teeth together Cassie limped out of the room and towards the stairs, comming off on a floor with a bathroom near the stairs. She managed to clean herself off slightly..well there was less blood to say the least before setting back up to go to the common room.

Lyssa was sitting on the floor in front of a low table glaring at her textbook when the portrait opened and Cassie came in. Lyssa looked over at her and her eyes went wide. "What the hell happened?" she exclaimed.

"Carrows," Cassie said sitting down on a chair and wincing slightly. "They are very uhh... creative when it comes to hexes." She grimanced.

"The Carrows?! That's taking things too far," Lyssa said, her wide eyes turning into a glare.

"He did warn us that it would just get worse," Cassie sighed.

"That's still ridiculous," Lyssa said, standing up from where she was sitting. Then she started to angrily mutter in French, while looking like she was trying not to start pacing. "C'est absolument ridicule. Il n'existe aucun moyen possible, ils devraient être autorisés à s'en tirer avec quelque chose de si horrible."

"They're controlling both the school and the Ministry Lyss," Cassie said. "There really is nothing we can do. That's why I continue to stand up to them, because I'm not going to let them walk all over me and make me do what they want me to."

"I don't give a fuck, it's still ridiculous. Also, I think I just unlearned my lesson. They have ticked off the wrong Malfoy. I'm the one that actually does things back. And no one is allowed to hurt my friends, except me. And you know I meant that last part in the most loving way possible, right?"

Cassie smiled and groaned at the same time. "Lyssa..." Sheshook her head slightly amused. "I don't want you to get hurt."

"I don't really care if you want it or not. It's my decision. Deal with it."

Cassie smiled amused again. "Alright," She sighed and leant back. :I am this close," She showed her fingers a centimeter apart. "From walking out of here seriously." Cassie was getting some odd looks from her housemates but for the most part she ignored them.

"That, my dear Cassie, would be equivalent to giving up, so don't you dare."

"I feel like it though," She sighed looking up at the roof. "The ministry are morons." She muttered.

"They've always been morons, it's just gotten worse now that Voldemort's all but controlling them like puppets."

"Hrm," Cassie nodded. She went to bed early after hastily scribbling some crap for homework, she tired and sore and just wanted to sleep, though found it hard to find a comfortable position to sleep in.

Lyssa finished up the essay she had been working on before Cassie's return, but couldn't completely concentrate on it. She was still rather in a bad mood. Giving up on it at like 11 she went up to the dorm to sleep.

Cassie was sure McGonagall nearly had a heart attack when she saw her the next day and actually she looked angrier then Cassie had ever seen her. She muttered a few times as she taught the class butno-one could pick up on what she was muttering. Most of the people Cassie came to contact with buggered her about the whole thing until she punched some Hufflepuff in the nose and threatened to whoever was listening the enxt person would get worse then a blood nose. Muggle studies was awful, the Carrow who taught it looked fairly smug for the lesson and kept snearing at Cassie and Lyssa looked as if she was about to stand up and hex the Carrow into smitherines, she didn't but just Malfoy-glared at it.

Cassie met Snape at the gargoyle at five and without a word he led her to the Carrows office again which she left only half being able to walk. Cassie scowled at the Carrows and at Snape while she half hopped half walked out of the office and towards Gryffindor tower thinking that Lyss was really going to go nuts.

The next day Lyssa was more than ready to hex just about every annoying person in that school, but instead settled for brooding and glaring. Once Cassie went off to the second detention she headed to the library. She stayed there until it was so late the librarian told her to leave. She walked back to the common room, to find that Cassie was already there. Upon seeing the condition her friend was in Lyssa glared so much that she was sure something was going to catch on fire. She walked over to Cassie, still feeling like just walking back and going to murder a certain few people. Instead she calmed herself down, thinking that it was time to put her research into action. It worked well enough already anyway. She'd tested it. Keeping herself surprisingly calm she stood in front of Cassie. "I'm sure they forbade you from going to the nurse to get fixed up, but I'm also so sure they didn't say a thing about going to me. I'm not the best at keeping cuts from not scarring though," she held up her non-wand hand which now had a few scars along her palm. "But it's better than nothing. What do you say?"

Cassie nodded. "Thanks Lyss that would be nice, I'm alright at healing stuff as well considering I took lessons from the matron last year but it's hard to heal yourself when you can't see the wound clearly nor judge it medically."

Lyssa smiled. "Wonderful." Then she set to work getting rid of the worst stuff. Once she was done she sat down in a chair. "I spent the day in the library for you, you know. I don't like libraries. Plus, it's sort of hard practicing healing things when you have to be sneaky about making the injury in the first place..." She looked down at her left palm.

"Thanks Lyss." Cassie said again pleased to note that half of the bruises and cuts were gone. Her leg still ached and Cassie thought it was sprained or something. "Hoping up four flights of stairs is harder then it seems." She sighed and dicided to ignor the fact that Lyssa had hurt herself trying to heal Cassie.

"It was nothing, really. I just...felt like I should do something helpful, and well getting myself in trouble isn't helping, so I went with the best route that might not get me in trouble with them, and it's helpful..." She shrugged lightly. "I'm not that good at it yet though. Maybe with more practice..." Lyssa trailed off.

"Unless Snape says you can't help," Cassie muttered grumpily. "I wou;d very much like to punch him in the face right now but he's probably faster then me with my stupid leg and better at spellwork so that would be useles..." She sighed.

"I don't care if he says I can't help. I'm already going against him by helping now anyway," Lyssa replied.

"I thought I said that you weren't allowed to go to the Hospital wing," Snape said as a greeting the next night. "I didn't." Cassie said. He raised an eyebrow "Lyssa..." Cassie said quietly. "Tell Miss. Malfoy, or anything one else who tries to heal you that if they do it again they can join you in your Detensions." Cassie nodded and limped after him as he walked off.
