Cassie and Lyssa AE 6

Lyssa was sitting in the common room, waiting for Cassie to get back. Upon the other girl's arrival she immediately said, "I don't care what he said. I'm doing it again."

"No," Cassie said as she limped in. "I don't want you hurt Lyss, I'll heal myself."

Lyssa gave her an annoyed look. "You said yourself yesterday that it's hard to heal yourself when you can't see the wound, so I'm doing."

"Hard not impossible but fine I'm not in the mood to argue. Ow my leg." She threw her leg an annoyed look.

"Thank you, now what's wrong with the leg you think? Cause as far as I can tell it's nothing visible."

"I have no idea, fractured maybe?" Cassie shrugged sitting down. "I need crutches or something." She muttered under her breath. "But I doubt that would be allowed either." The Gryffindor scowled.

"Hrm, I read over how to fix those, but I don't know if it would work, cause I haven't actually practiced it....Nor do I want to, seeing as I would also be the practice dummy."

"I'll be fine," Cassie said. "I broke in in primary school and that was worse." It took Cassie far longer then usaul to travel up and down stairs that day which resulted in her being a few minutes later for classes. "Two things Miss Evans," Snape said when she finally got to the gargoyle, both of her legs were aching, the sore one and the one she was using to half hop everywhere. "One you are late and two I thought I told you that your freinds couldn't heal you tell-" "Lyssa didn't heal me," Cassie said breathlessly. "I healed myself."

Lyssa groaned as she lay back on her bed, having no homework to do for once. There were currently four people she wanted to beat over the head, and for several reasons she couldn't do that.

Cassie was actually slightly surprised when he said nothing but just walked off as his annoying fast pace which was harder for Cassie to keep up with now. The next week and a half passed and by the end of it Cassie was dead. "Ow, ow ow." She complained as she walked or did a funny hopping thing, thankfully her other leg wasn't dead because otherwise she would have to crawl or something stupid like that. "Wake me up when the wars over," Cassie told Lyssa the moment she entered the common room and colasped onto a couch.

"At least you're not as bad off as you could be," she replied.

"Well that certainly lightens my mood," She muttered sarcasticly. "I can't even put weight on this leg anymore I just fall over." She winced. "I'm going to sleep," She looked up at the stairs leading to the dorm. "Oh stuff that I'll just fall asleep here."

Secretly smirking to herself, Lyssa muttered something and flicked her wand at Cassie's hurt leg. She'd practiced the spell and movement for it without actually applying it. "Better, or did it not work?"

"Um ow crap!" She exclaimed gingerly trying her leg. "Better...slightly. Eh I'll hop, sometimes those charms need some time to work, expecially if it's cast by someone who isn't really skilled with medical magic."

"At least I tried..." Lyssa muttered.

"And thanks for trying, sorry I'm just kinda grumpy right now." And with a demented hop Cassie set off to the dorm scowling at her housemates that looked as if they thought she was crazy.

"Hrm..." Lyssa muttered after Cassie was gone. "You'd think maybe after all that she'd learn to mess with them in ways that don't get her in trouble...Or at least so they don't know who it was..."

"I'll be an expert at hopping once this is over." Cassie muttered falling onto her bed and pulling the blanket over her. She was soon asleep.

After a little while longer, Lyssa ascended the stairs, going to her bed to sleep.

Cassie spent the Christmas break resting and by the end of it her leg didn't even hurt in the slitest when she use dit.

The day before classes started up again, the two were sitting around in the common room.

Cassie sighed. "Classes tomorrow great."

"Please don't do anything stupid," Lyssa said. "You just got over the last stupid thing you did."

Cassie looked at her. "I'm not just going to sit around and be a good girl, that's what they want us to do. Stop fighting because we're afraid to fight."

"Cassie please?" Lyssa asked.
