Cassie and Lyssa AE 6

"No Lyssa, it's like putting a Cat and a mouse in the same room and telling the Cat not to ear the mouse. It's not gonna happen. They can do what they want but I'm not going to stop fighting."

"You're going to end up dieing you stupid idiot."

"Well I'd prefer to die then watch the Death Eaters take over and not to something to try and stop it."

"Have you stopped to consider the people that don't want you hurt or dead, like oh I don't know your family?"

"Oh I've had enough of this crap," The girl walked off and up towards the dorm, finding her junk she shoved it into her case and slammed it shut looking around to make sure she hadn't left anything.

Lyssa followed Cassie. "What the hell do you think you're doing?"

"I'm," She said picking up her case. "Leaving. I've had fricken enough of Hogwarts."

"You're..." Lyssa tried to say something, but couldn't for a moment. "You're leaving?!" she ended up shouting. "You...you can't leave..." she then whispered, looking at the ground.

"Yes. I can."

"Please don't."

"Why?!" Cassie shouted. "Why Lyss? I'm not going to stay here listening to Death Eater crap and your right annoying the Carrows won't do anything except probably get me killed. I don't give a fuck about the rest of my education right now and frankly anyway if better then Hogwarts."

"Because, if you do then...then I'll be alone. I know I sound selfish, but..." Lyssa stopped.

"Come with me then, and anyway you'll have Draco. I just don't know. I'm fed up I've had enough and I want to get out of here."

"I'm not leaving, because that would be running away from the problem. And I don't care if Draco's here. I can't....I don't rely on him like I do you..." Lyssa stopped again, because she feared if she said more she would end up crying.

"Staying here won't fix it either. Look Lyss, I love you, you're my best freind but I can't stay here. I can't stand the Carrows and I'll just keep pushing till they get bored and kill me."

"Fine then. Go. But know this. If the next time you see me I'm broken apart into a million different pieces and they can't be put back together again, it's your fault. You are the only thing keeping me sane still. You saw what I can turn into. I'm fighting it because it hurts you. But do what you need to. Leave. I just know I'm staying here." And with that Lyssa turned and walked out of the dorm and the common room.

Cassie froze and then swore. She hesitated for a few moments and then grabbed her trunk and wheeled it out of the dorm and out of the common room. She didn't want to leave Lyssa but honestly she didn't have a choice, unless she wanted to die and Cassie knew Lyssa would prefer her alive. She ignored everyone as she walked through the castle and once out of the grounds she threw her arm out with her wand calling the night bus.

Lyssa just kept walking; she didn't even pay attention to where the hell she was going. She couldn't see passed the tears that had gathered in her eyes anyway. She hadn't really wanted to be selfish like she had been, but it was sort of an automatic self-defense mechanism. Hurt the other person so they can't see how hurt you are.

Cassie had no idea where she wanted to go but she knew one thing, she wanted to stay out of the wizarding world. Honestly she much prefered the Muggle one. Changing out of her robes Cassie told the driver she wanted to go home. (well she have him the adress) and once there she dumped her stuff at home, going through the back door so her parents wouldn't hear her. She left all her wizarding things behind with the exception of her wand which she really wasn't going to leave behind. Grabbing a packback from her cardboard Cassie shoved some clothing in it and some Muggle money and went back out the back door. She just didn't want her parents to find her beforeshe could leave, she also just didn't want to stay.

Lyssa kept walking around for a while longer, sort of lost now. She didn't even know what floor she was. The tears had long since started dripping from her eyes, so she still couldn't really see. Everything was blurred. She swiped her hand across her eyes, trying to clear them, recognizing where she was. Right by Snape's office. Lyssa had it in her mind then that she wanted to shout at him, and accuse him, and just let all her hurt and anger and frustration out on him. Besides it was all his fault anyway, she convinced herself.

Snape was walking back to his office when he saw a very distressed looking Gryffindor standing outside it. He sighed to himself, those two girls made his life so much harder. He didn't want to have to punish them like he did but he had to keep up his facade at being a Death Eater so he could help the students. As ironic as that sounded. He didn't want to think about what would happen if the Carrows were in charge. "Miss Malfoy," Snape drawled. "What are you doing?"

"What the bloody hell does it look like I'm doing? I'm fucking crying you stupid bastard!" Lyssa snapped, not caring about her language usage. "Wouldn't you be if your best friend had just walked out of the castle, and you didn't know when or even if you'd see them again!"

"Languge Miss Malfoy," Snape sneered at her. In his head he was actually quite surpirsing that Evans had walked out that just didn't seem her style.

"Oh, I don't give a damn about my language! It's you and your two bone-headed cronies's faults that she fucking left to begin with!"

"really?" Hesaid. "If it was, she would have left as soonas she'd finished her last detension and not on the last day of break."
