Cassie and Lyssa AE 6

"I am going to give you girls another week of Dentension and be aware that if you don't come to them you'll be losing more then just housepoints." He looked livid that for once it actually made her slightly scared. "Understand?" Cassie nodded without saying anything.

Lyssa regarded the angry Snape with more than slightly scared eyes. "Got it professor," she said, managing to find her voice.

"Now get out of my office, be outside the gargoyle at exactly five." the girlsnodded again and hurried out of the office.

Once they were outside the office and passed the gargoyle, Lyssa said, "I don't think I've ever been so scared of Snape before. He looked rather murderous back there, didn't he?"

"I don't think I have either," Cassie said glancing back at the office. "If looks could kill..." She muttered shaking her head. "Though I really don't want to see exactly what he plans if we miss the Dets." She made a face.

"I don't either..." Lyssa muttered. "And I think we should refrain from skipping anymore, to avoid getting more added on. One week's going to be bad enough."

"Ugh," Cassie groaned. "This will be awful, his Dets are usaully bad enough, and that was when Dumbledore was here to make sure he didn't go mad." She groaned again. "Oh dear."

The day went on and sooner rather than later it was five in the afternoon and the two were walking toward the gargoyle, the stupid thing within their sight. What would a minute late hurt anyway?

The girls got to the gargoyle as Snape came down, when he saw them he turned around and walked back up to his office leaving the two girls to follow. Entering the office Cassie saw two smaller desks sitting near the walls. He gestured for them to sit and they did so. Cassie watching him like a bomb that would explode at any moment. "You will write;" He said silkily. "I will not skip class, talk back to the headmaster, or cause diruptions in classes anymore." "How many times?" Cassie said getting a horrible flashback of year five. At least there was an ink pot on the desk. "Five hundred times." "Five hundred?" Cassie spluttered. He just raised an eyebrow at her. "For every time you talk I will add fifty lines and you are not leaving this room tonight until they are all done."

Lyssa looked at Snape, eyes wide, mouth agape. "Every night?!" she asked him in disbelief. "For a week?!" Please let him say no, she thought to herself.

"Yes," Snape said simply. "Now be quiet or I'll add more lines." For the first time in her life Cassie was thankful for year five at her Primary school. Her teacher had liked making people write lines and so Cassie had learnt how to quickly scrawl them, it was easier with a pen instead of a quill though. Cassie dipped her quill into the ink pot and started to scrall, not caring if it was messy and covered with blots of ink.

Lyssa frowned to herself, being quiet now. She looked at the ink, quill, and page set before her, frowning more. She was never really good at writing for long periods of time, and even had to frequently take breaks when writing essays for class. This was going to take her forever. With a sad sigh, Lyssa picked up her quill, dipped it in the ink and began penning the line in her nice, neat handwriting. She had tried to write fast and sloppy as an experiment once, and learned it made her hand hurt faster, so she figured this as better anyway.

After some hours, Cassie lsot track of the time, Cassie groaned and started coutning her lines to see how many she had. Marking the number in the margine. 452, she proceded to write another 48, Cassie wondered how Lyssa was doing. "Miss Evans," Came Snape's voice. "I don't think you have the time to be staring into space." "I've finished Sir," Cassie said flexing her acheing hand. Five hundred lines really was toture, and she had another six days of it afterwards. "Really?" He said disbelievingly. Cassie picked up her numerous ink ridden pages and put them on his desk. Snape non-verballed some spell that she presumed told him how many lines it was and nodded. "You may leave Miss. Evans," He sent her a look to tell her not to argue as she opened her mouth to say something. Cassie nodded and sent Lyssa a look before leaving the office. She got back to the common room and found that it was 12:14. She groaned. And they had class the next day. Despire how tired she was Cassie sat on her bed until Lyssa came back.

Lyssa had actually bothered numbering even twenty or so, so she wouldn't lose count. She stopped momentarily, when she heard that Cassie had finished and looked down at her own page. 420 done, 80 more to go. With a sigh to herself, and a quick flex of her sore hand, she started up again once the office door closed, signaling Cassie had left. What seemed like ages later, she was finished with it. "I'm done," she muttered through a yawn, flexing her hand a bit. Snape came over and did the same spell thing on her's as he had Cassie's to count them and nodded at her. "You may go now." Lyssa definitely didn't need told twice. She was out of the office and on her way to Gryffindor tower. She got to the common room, and looked at the clock. It was only about 1:30 in the morning now. She walked up the stairs to the dorm with another yawn. There she found Cassie will awake. "Figured you would already be asleep," she muttered quietly as to not wake the others that were sleeping.

Cassie yawned and shook her head. "I wanted to wait for you." She yawned again. "How's your hand?"

"It hurts," Lyssa muttered. "But I imagine it'll be worse tomorrow."

"Ugh," Cassie exclaimed. "He's just so evil, like I know he's evil but that was just so like unlike-him evil. Wiriting lines? Honestly! That's like both of my year fives all over again." She groaned.

"I don't want to know what the hell you're talking with the both," Lyssa said falling facedown on her bed, face in the pillow so her words were muffled. "I'm going to bed."

"My year five teacher at Primary school was fond for want of another word, of writing lines." Cassie pulled her dona over her. "Good idea, see you tomorrow, or well," She yawned. "Later today."

Lyssa didn't even hear anything Cassie said. As soon as her previous words were out of her mouth she had promptly fallen asleep.

Cassie got woken up with a groan by the other girls in the dorm. "If you don't get up," Nix told her. "You'll miss class." Which caused Cassie to just about jump out of bed in a half asleep dazzed. "Don't want that," Cassie muttered. "Get less sleep." Nix raised an eyebrow at her. "What?" Cassie asked as she proceded to get ready.

Lyssa also got woken up, though not by Nix, rather it was her cousin Vinde. "Stupid Snape," was the first thing Lyssa said upon waking. "Him and his stupid detentions."

"Here here," Cassie agreed with a yawn, she stumbled slightly and nearly feel over. "To breakfast," She mumbled not really sure if it had made any sense.

"Back to sleep sounds better," Lyssa muttered, getting a raised eyebrow from her cousin. "He had us up late writing stupid freaking lines for skipping class. 500 a night for a week."

"Git," Cassie muttered. "Yeah bed would be nice but then we'd get like another 500 and that would suck. A lot."
