Cassie and Lyssa AE 6

"Tell me."

"You said to tell you how it's not your fault which I can't cause you can't prove a negative, you tell me how it's your fault."

"Because I'm the reason you got angry in the first place. If I hadn't done what I did then we wouldn't have been not friends for a while, and then we wouldn't be fighting about it now."

"Ugh," Cassie wanted to bash her head into the wall. "I don't care about that fricken arugement it was ages ago, I care about what's happening now and we need to stop argueing over whose fault it is."

"Then freaking let me blame myself and stop trying to get me to think otherwise, because it's not going to work!"

"Fine then," Cassie shouted. "Fucking blame yourself, if you want to bloody blame yourself why are you saying sorry?"

"I'm apologizing because my blaming myself seems to upset you. What else would you have me do?"

"You don't need to apologise again and again, once. is fine."

"Well, excuse me for feeling the need to apologize more than, since in my world, one apology doesn't cover about a million things."

"You havn't done a million things though. You did one and you apologised for that so why apologise more?"

"I guess maybe, because I did things after the one that called for more?"

Cassie was about to say something when she stopped. "I heard somethng," She said turning around and glancing about.

"You don't think someone heard us shouting do you?" Lyssa said, looking in the direction of the passage's exit.

"I don't know, maybe we should leave?" At a nod from Lyssa the girls exited out of the passageway. "Eep," Cassie said as they walked straight into the headmaster.

Lyssa nodded at Cassie and the two walked out, directly coming upon Snape. "You two again? Why am I not surprised?" he said. "Because this seems to be becoming a normal occurance?" Lyssa replied, looking at him and trying to seem innocent.

"You can't prove a negative," Cassie told him.

Snape didn't react to either of their comments, choosing, instead, to just say, "To my office, now," in a voice that left no room for argument.

Cassie made another 'eep' noise as Snape turned on his heal and walked off his cloak billowing. Cassie glanced at Lyssa and then both girls started to follow him.

Lyssa's shoulders slumped down. Not much earlier in fact, she was pretty sure she had said something about the two of them needing to stay out of Snape's office, not get themselves dragged back into it. The two teenagers followed behind Snape in silence. The group reached the office and Snape opened the gargoyle, turning to the girls, indicating them to go inside first, so that he could be sure they wouldn't make a break for it when he was out of sight.

Cassie scowled at Snape's back throughout the whole work to his office. Both girls had said earlier that they didn't want to go back into the office and what had happened? They had ended up in the office. Cassie scowled as Snape gestured for them to enter the office, she walked in looking around at the 'sleeping' portraits.

Lyssa walked in after Cassie, Snape coming in behind her. Snape walked to the side of his desk that had the chair and sat in it, looking at the 7th year Gryffindors. "Would either of you care to explain what you were doing skipping class, after we've already had a conversation about it?"

"I'm not going to waste my bloody time in a classroom listening to some Death Eater blabber on about how Muggles and Muggleborns are awful. It's insulting! My mother is muggle born and she got her wand taken off her because the Ministry think she stole magic! How the fuck do you steal magic? It's fricken impossible." She death glared at him. "She didn't do anything wrong but she's lost her right to use magic for being born in a non magical family!"

"And," Lyssa continued Cassie's rant, "half of this school's students aren't even here anymore, because of that. I don't see you lecturing them about skipping classes. They should be in them, too, you know. They deserve to be here. They're just as special and important to teach as any people who can trace their magic back even a generation. This is bloody ridiculous."

"Technacly," Cassie said under her breath as the thought came to her. She was unsure if even Lyss who was standing right next to her could hear her. "I'm now a muggle born." She shook her head and glanced up at Snape about to say something when he thumped his fist onto the desk. "Silence." He said it with such hostility that it made Cassie flinch.

Lyssa heard Cassie mutter something once she'd stopped ranting at Snape, but couldn't quite make out what she said. Maybe she would ask later. She was lost in her considering when suddenly Snape banged on his desk and said "Silence" causing Lyssa to jump slightly. She looked at Snape, who looked really angry.
