Cassie and Lyssa AE 6

Lyssa sighed to herself and frowned. "Gimme a minute." Then she looked at her brother, "Draco? Hallway?" He nodded, looking a litter overwhelmed, because from what he could understand his sister was about to leave.

Cassie nodded and leaned on the door frame, ignoring both Snape, her classmates and the Carrow as she waitedfor Lyssa and Draco to finish talking.

Lyssa and Draco both walked out of ear shot of everyone. Once they stopped walking Lyssa hugged without saying a word first. "I'm sorry, but I have to," she told him. Draco nodded at her. "I know. It's fine." Lyssa gave him a small smile. "Thanks, that actually means a lot." She hugged him again and then the two walked back, Draco going in the classroom, Lyssa stopped by Cassie.

"Come on let's go get our stuff."

The two girls walked up to the Gryffindor common room. Just inside Lyssa stopped. "It's a bit odd to think about isn't it? Leaving Hogwarts. After seven years..." she said with a deep frown. "It sort of becomes a huge part of your life, and really more like a home than home itself. At least for me anyway..."

"I know what you mean." Cassie said with a ndd. "It is a bit weird. I'll miss this place."

"Yeah, same. Although I'm not going to miss some of the people, or the classes, or the homework..." Lyssa stopped and made a face. "What does that leave to miss?"

Cassie laughed. "The place its self?" She suggest. "It just has anice feel."

"I suppose, and at least some of the people too I guess. Like Draco and...some other people I can't bother thinking of right now."

"Yeah, I'll miss a few people too but yeah..."

Then the two girls went up to the dorm finally to get their stuff.

Gathering their stuff, the two gils then set off down through the castle.

On the way down, they ran into McGonagall who didn't have a class at the moment, and was off doing something or other.

"What are you two doing?" She asked and then spotted their trunks. "Your leaving?"

"Yeah well.." Cassie ran a hand through her hair. "We kind of have to..."

McGonagall looked at them.

"Um..Snape expelled us. Or well me and yeah..."

"He did what?!"

"Well, professor...he almost expelled me a while back, but Dumbledore stopped him, and so Snape was like if you do one more thing you're out of here, and well...Cass..." Lyssa said with a gesture that her last statement should be self-explanatory. "Quite technically I don't have to go anywhere, but we're in this together, so if she goes I go."

Professor Mcgonagall sighed. "Alright, I guess I can
t do anything. But I want both of you to be extreamly careful and if we ever get out of this mess you are welcome back to study for your Newts." The gils nodded. "Come on Lyss, We should go before Snaoe appears and I punch him or something."

"Thanks Professor McGonagall," Lyssa said before turning to Cassie. "I suppose we should, though I'm not against you punching...." She still wanted to hex him through a wall after all...

"Either am I, but I think I'd prefer to leave in onepeice." She looked at McGonagall again. "Bye Professor." They pulled their trunks through the grounds. "Where to?" She asked.

Lyssa sighed and shrugged slightly. "I'd say your house, since that'd be easiet, plus that way I could meet Emma. I still want to you know."

"Alright letsgo."

(fails but I gotta go)

The two got from the grounds and then got to Cassie's house (I don't care how they got there, they just did). When they got there, of course, they had to explain to Cassie's parents what had happened.

Cassie and Lyssa appearated to Cassie's place. Even if they hadn't actually passed the test yet.."Cassie?!" Cassie heard her Mum say as the girls walked through the gate at the front of the house. "Hi Mum," Cassie said bleakly. "Again?" Her mum asked referring to when Cassie had walked out about a month ago. "Hi Lyssa." She said smiling at Lyss. "Well kinda?" Cassie said awkwardly pulling her case through the path and towards the house, her trunk got caught on a rock and Cassie yanked it to continue.
"What do you mean by Kinda?" Her mum asked with a frown, Cassie didn't like that frown, it wasn’t just a displeased frown it was a frown that boarded on the edge of annoyed.
"Well I didn't walk out this time.." Cassie muttered dejectedly.
"Then what..?"
"Um..I got expelled.." Cassie glanced at her feet and kicked at a rock sitting there. “And Lyssa walked out because where one of us goes the other follows.” Though Cassie knew that her Mum had stopped listening after the word expelled.
"You got what?!" She exclaimed.
"Mum," Cassie groaned. "It's Snape remember?" While her Mum had never personally known Snape, she had heard stories from Cassie and Lyssa and knew what an unfair, prejudice bastard.
Her mum sighed. "I suppose so. Come in, Cassie take your and Lyssa's stuff to your room and we'll work out what to do next."
Cassie nodded. "Is Liz home?"
Her Mum nodded. “Yeah she is, come on.”

Lyssa was quiet mostly as Cassie talked with her mum, only saying hi back when Cassie's mum said it to her first.

Cassie really quickly breifed over the whole year, her mum wouldn't let her leave anything out so while talking Cassie was looking at her Mum like a bomb that was about to go off which it did once Cassie had finished. Cassie sighed as her Mum ranted.

Lyssa sighed as she felt awkward being in Cassie's house again. She always did, because they seemed like such a tight-knit family (even when there was ranting). Her family was never much like that, so it felt weird being around it to her.
