Cassie and Lyssa: Rise of Audentia

Cassie scowled at his retreating back and stormed out of the room slamming the door behind her, sure no-one had had a pleasent year, freaking Voldemort had taken over the world but Draco had still had his sister, Cassie had lost her. She frowned when she'd noticed that she was out the front of the room where Lyssa was. Frowning, she took her cloak off and dumped it by the door making sure the disguise was off her voice she entered the room.

Lyssa was still laying on the bed, reading the same book as before. She was nearly done with a lack of anything else to really do. Just as she turned the page to the last one the door opened. Lyssa looked up from her book to see Cassie standing there frowning.

"Hey," Cassie said softly unsure of what else to really say, but then saying hello as the first thing you say does make sense. "Good book?" She asked coming over to the bed and sitting down on it, dispite her mood she couldn't help not remembering hiding under it when playing hide and seek with Lizzie, it had been her favourite hiding spot and although it wasn't her room she used to hide things under the bed and behind books on the shelfs and in other little nooks and crannys. She'd forgotten about that not having been to the house for a fair while before coming as a member of Audentia.

"Hi..." Lyssa replied. Then she closed the book as she was finished it. "It was okay. Not the best, not the worst." She noticed that Cassie was still frowning. "What's up?" she asked lightly, trying to keep the awkwardness that had shown up the first time away.

"Your brother is the most persistent git in the world," Cassie muttered darkly. "He could be a Gryffindor!" She looked at the book and shrugged, she'd attempted reading it as a small child but being little she couldn't understand half the words and never tried to read it again. Most of the books on the shelfs were quite boring books. "I swear I hid books in here," she muttered frowning furthur trying to remember where. "Oh well."

Lyssa shrugged. "That's just Draco. He's a bit odd....when it comes to certain things..." she muttered, although she had no intention of elaborating on what the certain things were.

Cassie shrugged still slightly irritated and pushed the urge to tell Lyssa everything away, there were some things that she wouldn't understand, her being Head of Audentia was one of them. She sighed running a hand through her hair

Lyssa frowned for a second when the silence in the room stretched on, then leaned back on the bed's headboard, folding her hands behind her head. She closed her eyes for a second with a sigh.

Cassie sighed, the silence was starting to get to her, it wasn't peaceful silence either it was akward silence uncomfortable.

Lyssa opened her eyes and ran a hand through her hair as the silence went on even longer. "So um..." she muttered looking up at the ceiling trying to think of a way to break the silence. "What have you been up to?"

"Not much," Cassie said with a shrugg. Kidnapped a few Death Eaters, annoyed the hell out of Professor Lupin, you know the usual. She hid her smile. "There really isnt much to do," She said with a shrugg. "You?" She asked feeling slightly stupid as well she'd been stuck in a room and a cellar for like a week? Something like that. "I mean like before all this happened..." She muttered queitly.

Lyssa shrugged in return. "Nothing too much really..." she muttered. "In fact...if you ignore the fact that I've been freaking locked in this room...not too much has changed. It's been very boring all around." Then Lyssa stopped and looked at Cassie. "And don't lie.You can't have been doing nothing. I can't see you just sitting back through all this. It's against your nature."

Cassie inwardly hid a frown, she didn't want this to end in an arguement but if it kept going on this topic it would unfortunatly end in one. Unluckily for Cassie she had never been good at lying to Lyss or succesfully changing the topic. Cassie wondered what she should tell Lyss, ot should she tell her anything at all? But Lyss was bound to think something was up. It was all very annoying and confusing/

Lyssa looked at Cassie, giving her a chance to say something, eyebrow raised. "Well?" she prompted. After a moment with no reply, she frowned. "Well let's see...you wouldn't just be sitting back, so that means your fighting Voldemort, that's obvious enough. And that's also obviously not nothing. So...?" she said, leaving the last sentence hanging, giving Cassie a chance again.

Cassie frowned and bit her lip seeing no way out of the pending arguemtn. "You know me too well," She muttered under her breath. "Yeah, Ok I'm fighting Voldemort."

Lyssa gave her a slightly annoyed look. "I figured that much out on my own." Then she frowned for a moment, a few pieces of something clicking together in her mind. "You're part of whatever the hell they're called, aren't you?"

Cassie winced slightly. "Yeah," But saw no need to tell her she'd created Audentia, that wouldn't really help anyone much less Cassie, and she'd come to Lyssa because she was annoyed about the arguement she'd had with Draco not to start another one.

Lyssa blinked once and looked at Cassie for a moment. "You're....and you..." she muttered as she processed the affirmation. "You! You're the only person besides myself that knows my dueling style well enough to...to beat me that fast."

Cassie bit her lip hesistently and smiled slightly wondering if Lyssa would say anything else, she wasn't really prepared to have an arguement things were stressed enough so she was happy that she wans't getting yelled at. Yet..

Lyssa gave a dry chuckle for a second then said quite sarcastically, "That's just the most wonderful thought in the world. The one person besides my brother that I can actually stand most of the time is the reason I'm stuck in a freaking room, bored out of my mind, and thoroughly annoyed at it all. Lovely..."

Cassie scowled. "Least your not stuck in a cellar or with the other Death Eaters that the Order are taking charge off." Which was actaully quite a good thing, she wasn't sure how the Order looked after Death Eaters and the likes but she was pretty certain it wasn't very well.

Lyssa merely shrugged, running her hand through her hair. "I've honestly stopped caring anymore what happens. Comes from having too much time to think I think. Or maybe I'm just a pessimist." She shrugged again. "While we're sharing, anything you want to know?" She was surprised she was acting so calm about this.

"Yeah well the Order are gits," She muttered under her breath making a slight face. "Especially Professor Lupin." She made another face and frowned softly. "Not really but then I havn't really thought about it...maybe..." She frowned again. "What did you do before well this, before Audentia." She waved her hand she realised moments after she'd said the name but did it really matter if Lyssa knew?

"I'm going to assume Audentia is the group," Lyssa muttered. "Before all this nonsense..." she stopped and made a face. "Well basically I just helped Voldemort boss around his bunch of idiots, who it would seem have no individual thought process..."

"Yeah," Cassie replied. "It means courage or soemthing like that." She had to smile at the jab at the Death Eaters. "I would be surpirsed if they did, they wouldn't willingly join Voldemort if they had the choice."
