Cassie and Lyssa: Rise of Audentia

Cassie shrugged. "I'll just buy a new one I'm sure they'll be better behaved then this lot." Her eyes glinted wickedly and she left the room locking it behind her and grabbing her cloak off the ground out the front, she put the cloak over her arm and went to see what everyone else in the house was going.

Lyssa smiled when the chess pieces protested more and such, but then she frowned with a sigh as she heard the lock on the door click once Cassie had left. She laid back on the bed, successfully knocking to the floor a few chess pieces that had somehow ended up on it.

Cassie walked into the kitchen and got herself a sandwhich. She then walked into her bedroom and went rumaging through the carboards to see what she could find. Amused Cassie came out with notebooks, a few books, a scatter of pens and a long lost Ipod. Putting the ear phones in Cassie turned it on rolling her eyes at the music she'd like when she was about ten.

After a while the chess pieces had fallen into a false sense of security and were thusly being annoying again. Lyssa growled at them and picked one up, tossing it up and down in her hand for a moment before throwing it across the room, watching it break as it hit the wall and then the floor. "Any of the rest of you want that to happen?" she asked the rest, who had gotten quiet all of a sudden.

Cassie walked out of her room shutting the door behind her and went out into the yard, she was humming along to the music something she hadn't had the chance to do in a while, she sat down under a tree pulling out random tuffs of grass.

Draco finally decided to reemerge from his room, relatively calmer than he had been when he had stormed in and slammed the door. He walked through the house, noticing that fewer people than normal were around. Must be off doing something else.

Cassie went back and visited Lyssa at least once every two days, although they mostly spent them in silence their freindship seemed to be improving gradually. "I'm bored." Cassie annonced one day as they sat on the floor.

Lyssa opened one eye from where she had them closed to look at Cassie. "Oh don't start. I'm always bored, thank you very much. And I'm out of chess pieces to throw around and break," she said, closing her eyes again.

"You can always ask if you want something to do," Cassie said. "I'm sure no-one would mind unless it's magicaly dangerous or a wand or soemthing..." She trailed off yawning.

Lyssa faked a laugh for a moment. "Right sure," she muttered sarcastically. "Most people probably wouldn't trust me with a stuffed animal here." She leaned back on the side of the bed, one knee pulled up, arm and head resting on it.

"Well they can get stuffed." Cassie muttered under her breath. She sighed and rolled onto her back looking up at the roof, it was boring and had a few cracks in it, when she was younger it used to leak when it rained but it had gotten fixed. "Ok I'm bored. Want to come to my room?"

Lyssa lokoed at her. "You've already said that and sure." She shrugged.

Cassie grinned and stood up, she opened the door and let Lyssa walk out first shutting it behind her. The two girls set off in the way of Cassie's room gaining a few looks and scowls from passers by but Cassie glared at them and so they said nothing. "Cassie!" Someone said, Cassie turned to see Jo the Ravenclaw who used to guard the door holding a letter. "Order," He said as explanation. Cassie made a face and shoved the letter in her pocked diciding to read it later.

Lyssa took the time they were walking to look at the house. It wasn't bad. Then some guy came up with a letter for Cassie, saying it was from the Order, which she put in her pocket. Lyssa made a thoughtful face at the whole thing.

They got to Cassie's room and she sat down the floor her head leaning on the edge on the bed. She pulled the letter our and scanned it quickly making another face. "Stupid Order," She muttered under her breath then frowned realizing that Lyssa would probably want to know why she got the letter from the Order not someone else...

Lyssa stood near the doorway of the room, watching as Cassie looked over the letter she'd gotten and made a face at it, muttering something, but Lyss was too far away to hear her. "Um..." she said slowly. She didn't want to outright ask about the letter.

Cassie looked up scrunching the stupid letter into a ball of chicking it into her desk, where it hit the mirror and bounced back landing next to the chair leg. "What's up?" She asked having a small ingkling what it was about.

"Um..." Lyssa said again, looking around. "Not to pry....ok I'm going to pry. What was that all about?" Then she sighed at herself. Technically it wasn't right for her to be nosing into other people's business but it was going to bug her until she figured it out. She could just tell.

"Um..." Cassie ran a hand through her hair. "The Order are annoying gits who seem to think that we have no idea what to do ourself. Specially ProfessorLupin." She added the last bit quieter.

"Ok then...." Lyssa muttered, although that didn't answer all her questions, but she didn't want to pry more. She walked more into the room, than just standing near the door, looking around. Then she sat on the bed, having no interest in sitting on the floor. She leaned back for a moment, looking at the ceiling. "Why exactly did that guy give you the letter?" she asked after a moment, trying to sound nonchalant about it.

Oh ahh crap... Cassie bit her lip hesitantly. "Ok I'm not going to lie to you," She frowned. As much as I really want to right now. "I created Audentia..." She said quietly wondering if Lyssa had actaully heard her. She glanced at her knees.

Lyssa blinked a few times. "You started all this?" she asked, refering to the group. "You're the reason that Voldemort is getting increasingly frustrated because his Death Eaters keep disappeaing? Which isn't the best thing for him to be." She stopped for a moment. "That's just...ever so slightly unbelievable..."

"Well really I'm surprised it's come as far as it did, I think we're annoying to Voldemort and the Order, we seem to be stealing their spotlight." She shrugged smiling slightly. "But that's not the point." The Gryffindor sighed.

"Hrm, sounds to me like the Order's been annoying you a lot lately," Lyssa commented sitting up and looking at Cassie. "Do they happen to know that they're being outdone by a bunch of teenagers yet? That would be amusing."

"No," Cassie said cheerfully she then frowned a thought coming to her, if Lyssa ever got out and went back to Voldemort she could tell all she had heard. Cassie bit a lip in frustration not caring if Lyssa thought something was up, Cassie really needed to learn to think before she spoke.
