Cassie and Lyssa: Rise of Audentia

A few days later Lyssa found herself on another excursion. She was getting annoyed with the whole thing; it was rather boring after all, since she never did anything. She instead found herself leaning on a wall, arms crossed, when something similar to déjà vu happened and she looked to her right, noticing that those annoyances in blue had shown up again. This time however she didn't bother disappearing into an alleyway to watch them. That was rather boring after all, and plus she had a feeling Voldemort wouldn't be all too pleased if she called another retreat in the face of a duel. Her grip on her wand tightened and she straightened from where she was leaning, turning to face that direction.

Cassie dodged another light soaring overhead and threw a hex back watching as it hit the Death Eater. She watched as someone in thegroup appearated the body back to Headquaters, they had found out that it was possible to take the Death Eaters hostage without telling them what the HeadQuaters was. Out of the corner of her eye Cassie saw another person and threw a spell at it, smiling sadly she noticed it was Lyssa, and Lyssa well was probably better at spellwork then the other Death Eaters. Cassie dodged a spell Lyssa threw at it and fired one back, Lyssa deflected it and shot another one which Cassie rebounded and winced when it hit Lyssa and made her go flying...straight into a wall. Cassie frowned slightly and walked over to the wall. Lyssa was unconious and sporting a lump on her head which didn't look pleasent.

Still as analytical as ever, Lyssa looked around at the people who had just shown up, taking in just how skilled they were. It would come in handy for future reference and such. As she was doing so a spell shot her way. She retaliated back, watching with a scowl as the person dodged it and sent one at her again. A simple Shield Charm fixed that problem though. Then she cast another spell only to have the person deflect it, much to her general surprise, causing Lyssa to be unprepared for it. The spell hit her and threw her back into a wall. Her eyes closed as she hit it, and then the force of the impact caused her head to hit it too, which then made her black out. That would most definitely cause a major headache when she woke up.

Draco was pleased to notice that he had indeed improved and could sort of hold his own against a Death Eater, with little extra help from anyone. He smiled to himself, just as he noticed something in the corner of his eye. He looked over for a moment, just in time to see his sister get sent flying into a wall. He mentally winced, knowing that couldn't have felt pleasant. But his attention was called back as another Death Eater sent a spell at him. Then just as he was about to send one back the Death Eater started to disapparate.

While making sure that Lyssa wasn't bleeding she saw more people appearate in and then the Death Eaters appearate out, or the Death Eaters appearate out then the others apperate in she wans't sure. A quick look over her shoulder showed her that there was a few faces she knew. Professor McGonagall, Professor Lupin and a few others. Binding Lyssa's hands behind her back she levitated her up and then walked over to the Order, it had to be the Order who else would it be. Audentia came behind Lyssa and with a quick headcount she found out that they had lost no-one, although Ron was attempting to hold one of the younger students who had been knocked out, she wondered what the Order thought, they could probably tell some of them were still students. Slowly lowering Lyssa to the ground she took the levitation off her and stepped forward in front of her group. She watched for an Order member to say something first.

"Who are you?" Professor Lupin asked breaking the silence.

"Why does it matter?" Cassie replied with a grin knowing that they wouldn't be able to tell who she was from her voice because it was disguised. "I know who you are though," She continued. "You're the Order of the Phoenix," Professor Lupin frowned. "How do you know this?"

"Again why is it relevent?" Cassie replied.

Draco watched as all the Death Eater disapparated just as other people showed up. He was going to take a guess and say that it was that other group…the Order of the Phoenix. He walked over to where the two groups were standing, just as Cassie walked forward a bit to talk to them, making sure she was at the front of the group. Draco nearly smiled as they exchanged a sort of banter, finding it amusing.

All Lyssa could concentrate on was that her head was hurting like mad. She could hear people talking, but didn't really care what they were saying. Slowly, she tested opening her eyes, only to close them again with a stifled pained cry when that just made her head hurt worse. Stupid walls, she thought.

Cassie smiled at the Order's annoyance. "No Remus I won't tell you my name if that's the next thing your doing to ask," She said as Professor Lupin opened his mouth. "How do you know my name?" He asked looking suspicuously at Cassie. "I've met you before," Cassie said simply. "When?" "Do I need to tell you?" "If you want us to trust you." "Why don't you trust me? We're on the same side." "Where is the proof of that." "That we were here tonight to fight the Death Eaters and-" She gestured to Lyssa and frowned as she winced which meant that she was wakening. "We're on your side whether you trust us or not. I don't need the need to tell you my name." "Well we arent just going to call you 'person' or soemthing like that." Said someone else in the Order. "Fine if you want to call me something call me Red Crystal, but I won't tell you my name or the name of my group." "Whats the point of having a cool name if no-one knows it?" Someone in Audentia asked. Cassie rolled her eyes and ignored the question.

Waiting a few minutes until her head stopped hurting some, Lyssa ventured to open her eyes again, just to get a picture of what was going on. She blinked once as she realized there were the people in the blue and the Order around, figuring that wasn't a good thing. Then a small, sharp pain ran through her head where it had hit the wall, causing her to swear and close her eyes. Today was definitely not her day.

"If you don't mind," Cassie said said in bored tone. "Me and my group would like to leave." "What are you doing with Miss. malfoy?" Said Professor McGonagall. "That is not your buisness to know," Cassie said icily. "I don't tell you how to run your Order don't tell me how run Audentia." she watched as a few people glanced wearily around as if her saying the name would make people jump out from behind bushes and attack them. Cassie rolled her eyes. "If you want to contact me feel free to send an owl or a patronus as I know you can do, Red Crystal of Audentia, remember that." Cassie flicked her wand stunning Lyssa so she wouldn't come too until she was saftly inside HeadQuaters. "Good day Order of the Phoenix, next time try to come before the fighting has ended." Cassie grabbed Lyssa's arm and set off the Portkey on her wrist saying the password so quietly that she only bareley heard it.

Draco bit his lip as Cassie disappeared with his sister. The other members of Audentia started to do the same, as did Draco. Once back at headquarters they all went to the kitchen, where they normally met after something like that (even though it's only happened like twice 0_o) to talk. He leaned on the back wall, as they waited for Cassie to show up from where ever she was putting Lyssa for the time being, as it wouldn't be good if she were to wake up and hear them talking plans or something, just in case.

Cassie levitated Lyssa to the cellar, which was where they left the Death Eaters that they had taken Hostage, A Seventh year Ravenclaw was guarding the place. "Hello Cassie," He said with a small smile. "How did it go?" "Alright," Cassie said with a shrugg, she opened the door and placed Lyssa inside keeping her wand out in case some Death Eater tried to attack her. She undid the magical bounds keeping Lyssa's arms to gether then shut the door and magically locked it agian. "The Order showed up at the end," She shrugged. "See you later," "Bye," The Ravenclaw leant against the wall, he was still smiling slightly although Cassie had no clue why, it couldn't be fun guarding that place. She walked up to the kitchen and made another head count. "Hermione took Steve to one of the other rooms to heal him," Ron said helpfully when she noticed two people were missing, Cassie nodded. "Okay, now guys that was good. We got a few more Death Eaters and only Steve managed to get hurt. I suggest you all learn how to digues your voice in case you need to talk to people but don't want them to reconise you. Also I suggest you make yourself a code name, we will need to use the codes names around here so that we get used to saying them so you can yell at someone on the battle field with that name. Any questions?"

Codenames? Draco raised an eyebrow at the thought, but decided it had some merit to it and dismissed it. With a slight nod to himself, he straightened from where he was leaning on the wall. Everyone shook their heads when Cassie asked if they had any questions about it. Draco sighed. "I have a suggest about it. Since Cassie said Red Crystal when talking to the Order I'm going to guess that's the one she's using," he paused to look at her; she nodded. "Then no one else's name should have either of those words in it, because if you only have time to call out part of the name we don't need confusion as to which person is being called. So everyone should have different words." There was a murmur of agreement as people saw the logic in his suggestion.

Cassie smiled slightly thinking over what he had said. "Good thinking Draco, anyway, if you guys think of a name come tell me and as I said you need to start using them around here." Cassie put her hood down and ran a hand through her hair. "So I'm Red Crystal, lovley name." She grinned. "I'll talk with you later I'm going to get some rest." She yawned and went to her room.



Cassie was about to get into her bed when Hermione's patronus appeared frowning Cassie wondered what was up. Hermione told her that they had gotten another girl out of the castle, she seemed against the Death Eater's but they weren't intially sure. Cassie yawned and put her hood back on before leaving the house and apperating to the place where Hermione, the girl and whoever was with Hermione was.

Draco found himself nearly smiling when Cassie liked his idea, causing him to blink. Shaking his head, he left for his room just like everyone else was doing. He was tired after all. It wasn't everyday he dueled someone.

Lyssa groaned as she regained her consciousness for the second time that day, head still hurting like crazy. Just how hard had she hit that wall? She put her hand on her on her forehead, where the headache was worst and opened her eyes just a little bit.

After asking the new girl questions, Cassie found out that shecould be trusted. She gave her a cloak and the younger smiled putting it on, back at HeadQuaters Cassie left her cloak on and went to check on the Death Eaters and Lyssa. She tended to do this at least once every two days for no particalar reason,

Lyssa's head had nearly stopped hurting and she could open her eyes without any sort of pain seeming like it was shooting through her skull, although she did still have a slight headache from it all. Swearing lightly to herself, she leaned back on a wall, wincing when her back hurt a little. Probably bruised. She had also come to realize that her ankle was likely sprained as a result of her unconsciousness and not being able to properly stop herself falling. Getting sent into a wall wasn't one of the greatest thing to ever have happen. And then she turned to glare as the door opened.

Cassie smiled as Lyssa glared at her, it was even more amusing that Lyssa had no real clue who the hell she was except for that she was an enemy. She sighed slightly and crouched down next to Lyss if one thing she wasn't cruel. "Do you want anything for your headache?" She asked knowing that she could talk cause she disguised her voice.

Lyssa shook her head very slightly. "It's almost gone already…" she muttered quietly looking away. "My ankle hurts though…" She wondered why she was acting so timid-ish right now, and not…well not like that. Normally, she would have snapped no matter the circumstances.

Cassie sighed softly. "Can I see it?" She asked wondering if it was sprained or if the mucel had just been pulled. She shook her head at herself and when Lyssa let her see it she cheaked over it. "It's just bruised," She said. "It'll heal in a few days or so."

Almost reluctantly she let whoever it was look over her ankle. Lyssa didn't like not knowing who it was; not knowing things in general bothered her in fact. "It's just bruised," they said. "It'll heal in a few days or so." Lyssa scowled and ran her hand through her hair. She closed her eyes then and sighed, head still turned away from the person.

Cassie smiled softly and stood up, she walked out of the Cellar and shut the door behind her. "Jo," She said to the Ravenclaw boy guarding the door. "Havn't I told you you need to have your cloak on at all times, so you can just put the hood up when you need to go in?" "Sorry Cassie," He replied. "It's ok. And No longer call me Cassie, we all need like codenames so they." She gestured to the Cellar. "And the Death Eaters we fight don't know it's us. And the Order too actaully. I'm Red Crystal. Think up your own name." Cassie put her hood down and walked up to the kitchen.

Draco lazed about in his room for a little while, but soon got bored with that. He got up and left the room just walking around the house for a little while. On his way down one of the halls he saw Cassie walking just as she was putting the hood down on her cloak. He walked a little quicker to catch her. "Hey," he started, "um…I've been thinking and…" He stopped, cursing his pride and then started again. "Youregoodatduelingsomaybedoyouthinkyoucanhelpmegetbetteratit?" he said in a rushed voice.

Cassie raised her eyebrow as what sounded like utter gibberish protruded out of Draco's mouth. "Would you care to say that again? In English this time?" Cassie smiled at him and yawned softly. "Cause understanding gibberish is not a skill I poses."

Draco frowned and sighed. "Sorry," he muttered. "I'm just not..." He sighed again, looking away from Cassie. "I said, you're really good at dueling, so I was wondering if you could help me get better at it..." he muttered, trailing off and saying the last bit after 'I said' quietly.

Cassie smiled slightly. "Sure, I can. What do you want to get better at?" Cassie smiled again finding it amusing that Draco was asking her for help. He had never been one to ask anyone else for help, prefered to do things on his own. Cassie never thought she'd see the day that Draco Malfoy asked a Gryffindor was help. It was amusing.

"Um..." Draco said intelligently, looking down at his feet, almost as if he were embarassed to be asking for help in the first place. "I've gotten down the basics, so...everything above that that you know?" He scuffed his foot on the ground, still looking down.
