Lucy and Lyall

Lyall ran her hand through her hair again, still looking off. She wasn't sure exactly how she felt about someone outisde her family, and the teachers at the school, knowing right now.

"I'll leave you to think," Lucy said softly and turned around walking back to the school, she wasn't really sure she had wanted to tell Lyall she had known, but Lyall really hadn't given her a choice, she wondered if Lyall was having second thoughts about making Luyr tell her what was up.

Lyall watched with a frown as Lucy walked back in the school. As she continued to stand there she thought about what could come of this both good and bad. On the plus side, there wouldn't be anymore lying to her friend about why she disappeared on the full moon. But at the same time it would be weird. Lyall sighed as the bell rang, signalling the students to go to their first class. She walked in the castle still frowning.

Lucy walked off to her first class which was defence against the dark arts wondering if Professor Lupin was better, he had missed the last two days of class, Lucy frowned. He always seemed sick aswell. Frowning she continued walking to class thinking about Lyall, Lyall seemed to get along well with Professor Lupin because the two of them talked alot. A thought came to her and Lucy wondered if he was also a werewolf, right now it wouldn't surprise her, he seemed to be missing class at the full moon days, talked to Lyall alot...

Lyall walked up the stairs to Defense Against the Drak Arts, still thinking. In the end, she decided it was a good thing someone else knew. Why, she wasn't completely sure. It just felt better, not having to lie.

Lucy groaned at her peceptiveness, sometimes it really was a pain, she would prefer not to have to think about the whole ordeal. She sighed and took her seat in the middle-front of the classroom and took out her book,

Lyall made it to class, just before the tardy bell rang, taking her usual seat in the room. She looked over at Lucy. "Sorry for...spacing out like that...." she muttered, even though she doubted Lucy really cared that she had spaced out.

"It's ok," Lucy said drawing randomly on the side of her book, she wondered why Professor Snape had got them studying werewolves the first time he took over the class, probably so that someone would realise that it WAS a full moon and that Professor Lupin seemed to miss the days that there was a full moon on.

Lyall lightly scrutinized Lucy for a moment before saying, "You're thinking again." But she didn't say anymore after that. Instead she looked over at the door as Professor Lupin walked in to start the class.

"Yeah I am," Lucy said as Professor Lupin came in and started teaching, Lucy zoned in and out picking up random bits of information and then zoning out agian, she was good at multi tasking but not at thinking of two things at once.

Lyall shrugged and focused on the lesson. She would hate the zone out in her favorite class so far. It was by far the most interesting anyway.

The class ended and the two girls made their way to Potions which Lucy was wishing they didn't have right then as it was a class where she had to pay attension to what she was doing so the potion didnt explode in her face.

Potions went on without any MAJOR problems (other than Lyall failing at it again...), and soon (after another class) it was time for lunch. The two girls walked to lunch.

After whatever class they had next the two of them made their way to lunch and Lucy got a pie before covering it with sauce and actaully getting the pue with the sauce instead of missing like with the waffles...

Lyall just grabbed whatever was there on the table that she liked and took a bite. It was okay. She looked at Lucy, who managed to properly cover something this time. "Well it would seem you're back in your proper mind, since you can aim again," she commented. "That poor bare waffle..."

Lucy had to smile as she took a bite of her pie and managed not to get the meat on her shirt as she had always done as a child which had displeased her mum and ended up with them not getting any more pie until she was like ten,

Lyall sighed and cursed her natural curiousity for a moment. "It's probably not safe for me to ask," she started, thinking back to that morning slightly, "but what were you thinking about after that?"

Lucy swallowed the bite of her pie and hesitated slightly. "Um well. Professor Lupin and er what you are..." She took another bite of pie and got herself a drink.

Lucy shrugged. "Probably best not to talk about it here," She muttered finishing off her pie and her glass of orange juice, orange juice was another of the things that her mum didn't usually buy or well get the house elves to make but whenever her parents were out Lucy had gotten them to make it because she liked it much more then pumkin juice which was actually another rareity in the house.

Lyall nodded. "I suppose you would have a point there. Anything that concerns what I am...wouldn't exactly blow over well with people if they overheard..." she said, finishing off what she was eating.

"Yeah probably not," Lucy muttered. After they had both finished their lunch they made their way to Herbology which Lucy still thought was kind of a waste of time.

Lyall frowned as they walked to Herbology. She hated this class right after Potions, but she had a better reason for Potions. She was horrible at them. Herbology was just pointless.

The day ended without much of a Drama and the girls made their way back to the common room talking about the homework they had been given and other random junk like that.

Lyall flopped back on one of the couches. "What good is Herbology?" she asked. "I mean yeah you use it to identify plants for potions, but what use are....nevermind...those have a point..." She sighed and opened her bag, taking out a non-textbook book to read for a while.
