New RP 2 (Summer at the Malfoys') (again, obvious)

"I'm still not entirely sure this is a good idea," Lyssa said to Cassie. "You going to my house over the summer. But mother, more than father, insisted on it. She specifically said that it was only right since I stayed at your place last summer." Then she shrugged at her friend. "Like I believe that for a second."

Cassie nodded. "Yeah, it is kind of weird wehen you conside how much your family actually likes me, my family and my blood status." she frowned. They two girls were on the train and it had nearly reached kings cross. "I'll try and keep my temper," Cassie said. Then she sighed. "This will be very interesting."

"This," Lyssa said, "is going to end in disaster. I don't want to even go to the Manor. I don't like it there, at least not anymore, because of all the issues I've been having with my family. Adding in you....it's going to get blown up. There's going to be disagreements daily I bet."

Cassie nodded really wondering why she had been invited to stay at the Manor anyway, it really was a mystery to her. The train rumbled to a stop and the two girls exited the train pulling their trunks behind them. Cassie walking behind Lyssa. The corriders were jam packed as soon as the train stopped and it took them a little while to get out of the train.

Once off the train, and with a rather heavy sigh, Lyssa began to look around- begrudgingly- for her parents, or even just Draco. She spotted her parents a bit away, Draco already there. With another sigh, she walked that way.

Cassie followed behind Lyssa notcing that Draco had a sour look on his face. She felt kind of awkward, as it was the first time she really had been fast to face with Lyssa;s parents.

Lyssa stopped just in front of her parents, near her brother. "Mother, father," she greeted them with a nod to each, pulling out the 'politeness' she'd been raised upon. It was completely different then how she acted, and somewhat spoke in school when her parents weren't around. But when they were, even if it was sarcasticaly she used the same attitude she was pulling now. Plus, maybe acting like this would keep her parents from getting too...she couldn't think of the right word, but maybe it would keep the disagreements to a minimum.

"Mr and Mrs. Malfoy," Cassie greeted politely, she wasn't too sure how to act in front of Lyssa's parents having never been face to face with them before but she did the best she could and pulled out the manners her parents drilled into her as a child that barely ever got used anyway. "Thank you for inviting me." Though I'd prefer to be at home. She added as an afterthought.

"It's no problem, dear," Narcissa said to Cassie. "It'll be nice to get to know Melyssa's friends." Lyssa fought the need to roll her eyes. Yeah right she thought.

Cassie also had to stop herself from rolling her eyes. From what she knew of Lyssa's parents they probably wouldn't like to know her. Cassie frowned inwardly thinking that she was going to have a lot of fun trying not to yell at the Malfoys.

"How are we getting home?" Lyssa asked. "Since I imagine it would hard to apparate there with three underaged kids and their luggage..." Lucius looked at her. "We're having some house elves take the luggage." Lyssa just nodded.

Cassie couldn't help it she made a face at the mention of House elves but realized and stopped it almost imeadietly wondering if Lyssa's parents had noticed.

Thankfully, the adult Malfoys hadn't noticed the face Cassie made. Instead, they had turned their attention to Draco momentarily. A few minutes later Narcissa said, "Ok, it's time to be getting to the Manor. I'll take the girls, Lucius is taking Draco."

Cassie nodded and a few moments later Cassie found herself outside Malfoy Manor. "Wow," Was all she said looking at it. Cassie had to admit that the house was actually pretty awesome.

"It's not that great," Lyssa said to Cassie as her parents and Draco started to the Manor. Then with a sigh she started to follow them.

Cassie shrugged. "I liked the layout moreso then the house itself."

"It's still not that great. It's over-sized, and confusing to navigate," Lyssa said. "The garden is nice though."

"The garden is pretty cool," Cassie said with a nod. Narcissa led the girls into the house, it was in Cassie's opinion, over decorated.

"Melyssa," Narcissa said, addressing her daughter. "Your things have already been taken to your room and your friend's to the room she's staying in. It's the one that's next to yours (the same one from rewrite)." Lyssa nodded at her mum and started toward the stairs, expecting Cassie to follow her, since she doubted Cassie would want to be left with her mum.

Cassie hurried after Lyssa not wanting to be left with Lyssa's Mum. She seemed nice enough but just ehhh.

Lyssa made it up the stairs that led to her room on the second floor of the Manor. She stopped about halfway down the hallway, in front of a door. Turning to Cassie she said, "This is my room, yours would be the next door down."

"Alright," Cassie said somewhat awkwardly. It was the first time she had been in a purebloods house, alsothe first time she had been in a wizarding families house.

Lyssa couldn't help but give a small smile at Cassie's awkwardness at being in her home. "Now you know how I felt at your house last summer," she said.

"It's just awkward, I don't remember the first time I went to Emma's house and your house is just so different to mine it's weird."

"And your house is weird to, but I was raised here, so I'm used to it..." Lyssa replied.
