New RP 2 (Summer at the Malfoys') (again, obvious)

Lyssa frowned. "Sounds about right. He's always such a git when father's got a chance of walking in and hearing what he's doing. Draco looks up to him."

Cassie made a face. "Your brother can be a pest." The two made their way back the rooms and both went into Lyssa's room. Cassie sat on the floor, her back leaning on one of the walls.

"You know, there's two reason I don't like coming here anymore. One, my family is insufferable. Two, there's nothing to freaking do around here," Lyssa complained, settling back on her bed with a sigh.

"You need a swimming pool." Cassie muttered. She usually spent the whole summer in her swimming pool.

"Yes, we do," Lyssa said, sitting up from where she had laid back. "I'll be right back. I'm gonna go suggest we get one to my parents."

"Good idea," Cassie felt kinda awkward as Lyssa left the room.

Lyssa walked down the hall, wondering just where the heck her parents would be at the moment. She decided to try her father's study to see if he was in there, and if not she would go to their room. Luckily, Lucius was in the study. "Er..." Lyssa said, peeking the open door. "Father..." Lucius looked up at her, silently telling her to get on with whatever she wanted and then leave him alone. "Er... Cassie and I are bored, and were wondering if you would mind adding a pool to the Manor?" Lucius raised an eyebrow at her, but said, "I don't see why it can't be done. You will be informed when it's completed." Lyssa nodded at him and went back to her room, surprised Lucius had been so compliant.

"How was it?" Cassie asked once Lyssa reentered the room.

"Father said it was fine and that we would be told when it was finished. Shouldn't be too long if it's made using magic."

"Well I can't see it being made without magic..." Cassie muttered.

"That's true..." Lyssa muttered.

Sometime later Lucius came and told the girls that the pool was done.

"Lovely, now we can go swimming."

"Wicked," Cassie said. She went back to her room and put her bathers on as they were always in hr trunk. While looking for them she found a small parcle in her trunk and her eyes widened as she remembered what it was. "Forgetful me," She mused putting it back in her trunk. She'd give it to Lyss later. Taking her charm bracelet off Cassie put it in a safe place.

Lysas got dressed in her swimsuit and met up with Cassie in the hallway. Then the two of them walked toward the part of the Manor where Lucius had had the pool put. It wasn't a long walk to it, but it was long enough. And of course it was inside.

Cassie put her towle down on the edge of the pool and with a slight run up dived straight in, managing to get about half way down the pool before coming up for a breath. Lizzie and Cassie had always had compititions to see who could dive the furthest without using your arms and legs as a propellor over the years and Cassie took great pride in the fact that she won everytime.

Lyssa set down her towel as well, and walked in the pool, still not entirely comfortable with jumping like Cassie was, but at least now she wasn't afraid to get in the water at all like she had been last summer. When Cassie popped up from her dive in the water, Lyssa splashed her.

Cassie grinned and sent a wave of water back at her stroking over to where Lyssa was. Cassie loved being in water even if it wasn't a very hot day, hot days just made it all the more enjoyable.

Lyssa tried to duck out of the way of the water coming at her, but failed, most of it hitting her in the face. She mock glared at Cassie and sent more back, swimming backward after she did to get out of range when Cassie retaliated.

Cassie climbed out of the pool and walked over the deep in, she loved jumping into the pool. With an attempt of a forward flip, which was rather spastic but hey she tried, she twirled. Lost sense of direction and swam into the wall. Cassie laughed at herself causing herself to choke on water. "Well that failed."

"Nice going there. It was certainly very graceful," Lyssa laughed as she swam backward some more, stopping right before she hit the wall of the pool and changing direction. It felt nice to just lazily swim around.

"Shut up," Cassie said jokingly. Getting out and trying again. It was slightly better this time but not by much. "Maybe I'll just stick with diving," Cassie mused doing an inwater flip.

"You do that then," Lyssa said as she swam around in lazy circles, taking this time to relax. Then, deciding to be slightly out of character, she climbed from the deep end of the pool and backflipped off the edge. After resurfacing she smirked at Cassie who was looking at her.

Cassie pouted at her. "No fair." Then swimming off she said. "You know what would be cool. If you press a button and then random waves appear..." Cassie grinned slightly. "Nevermind."

"You mean like waves in the ocean or something?" Lyssa asked, curious. "That would be kind of cool, but then water would get everywhere when the water hit the edges of the pool."
