New RP 2 (Summer at the Malfoys') (again, obvious)

"Alright both our houses are weird. So now that that is settled. Now what?"

"Well I don't know about you, but I'm going to unpack my stuff..."

Cassie shrugged."That works I suppose, not that I have much to unpack."

Lyssa shrugged at her. "You know...since I stay at you place all last summer, I haven't been in my room since the summer before that."

"Hrm," Cassie said. "That's a while."

"It is," Lyssa agreed. "I think I'll go reaccquaint myself with it." And with that she left Cassie out in the hallway, looking around her room for the first time in a long time (what would it be? like nearly two years?)

Cassie entered the room next to Lyssa, ut was an alright room, nice and all.

Lyssa looked around her room, feeling a sense of nostalgia, which was really to be expected since it had been nearly two years since she last set foot in it.

Cassie decided that the problem of having freinds who had big houses was that it made you feel slightly awkward. Exoecially if you get given your own room, Cassie was used, to when she had freinds over or went to a freinds, to share her room with the freind.

After lounging in her room awhile, Lyssa noticed it was about lunchtime. She got up from where she'd laid down on her bed and walked to leave her room, just as there was a knock on the door. She opened it to find her brother. "Mum and Dad want us all to eat together to 'get to know' your friend." Lyssa nodded at him and said, "I'll get her."

Lyssa came and got Cassie and the two girls made their way downstairs. Cassie still feeling kind of awkward. She really wasn't used to being surronded by purebloods and it was kind of unnerving.

The Malfoys, and the one Evans all sat down at the table for lunch, the house elves bringing the food and such. Lyssa was quiet, waiting for something to explode.

Cassie managed to refrain from making at face at the houseelves this tike but it was a close thing, she thought it was stupid. It was also very lazy, getting a creature that can't disobey you to do your work.

Everyone ate in quiet for a little bit, until Narcissa broke it by saying "So, Cassandra," hearing Cassie's full name, Lyssa decided was like hearing her own, weird, "do you like your room?"

Cassie was actually surprised to here her full name, shehadn't heard it in years and the only time her father ever called her that. Her mother never did. Was when he was trueley angry at her. Which hadn't been in a while. It felt weird to be called that but not saying anything on that subject she replied to Mrs. Malfoy. "Yes," She said nodding. "It's very nice thanks."

Narcissa merely nodded, and all semblance of conversation died again.

Cassie actually found the lack of conversation slightly amusing, there was always some form of conversation at the table when she was at home. If it was Dad and Mum talking about dad's work or Lizzie complaining that he computer had died. Again. Or the parents asking the kids how their day had been.

Lunch continued in silence, which Lyssa found awkward, since she was used to the chattering of students from school. When it was over, she couldn't have been more pleased. Gratefully, she retreated back to her room.

Cassie followed Lyssa out of the room once lunch had ended. She found it slightly awkward and while Narcissa didn't seem so bad she honestly would have loved to be no-where near Lucius, there was something about him that Cassie detested and well Draco she had always found bothersome.

Draco, who had left the room before either of the girls, stood in front of Cassie. He looked her over for a moment or so, with a frown. "I haven't the slightest clue why mother and father invited you here but, do try and not track your filth everywhere," he said, because he was much more a git at home than he was at school, due to the fact that Lucius was around and Draco was always trying to please his father. He'd seen his father act like this around non-purebloods, so he would as well.

Cassie was rather taken a back although she shouldn't have been. She knew that Draco was a git but just... Refusing the temptation to punch him in the face, which probably wouldn't have gone down well with anyone else in the house she said. "I will try and not track my filth around your precious home where you can't even be bothered making your own lunch."

Draco stared at her with a neutral expression. "Good, because if you did then the same house elves that made the lunch would have to clean it up. Wouldn't want that would you?"

Cassie laughed. "Now that." She said with a alf smile. "Was the worst come back I have ever heard. "And that includs all the comebacks my sister comes up with."

Draco made a very unpleasantly indignant face at her and stalked away in a huff. Lyssa stuck her head from her room as he went passed, having heard the two in the hallway just outside it. "What just happened?" she asked, looking at Cassie.

"Um," Cassie said. "He insulted me, I insulted him back, he said something he thought was witty that failed and told him so and he walked off in a huff."
