Great Hall w/ Moodz and Ellie

I felt my eyebrows knit together as Cira tried to go back on everything she had just been saying. So she knew when to stop, did she? That would explain why she was in the hospital wing right now, injured due to her own foolishness. "Look, Slytherin, I know quite a bit about your supposed genealogy, and right now you are making a disgrace of Salazar's name. He believed in purity and cunning and control, and everything I've seen you do is more about lashing out or running around on a whim. For Merlin's sake, we're having this conversation in the hospital wing. You must be certifiably insane if you think that the blood running in your veins justifies you for this." I paused and blinked in shock at the lecture that had just tumbled out of my mouth. I no longer sounded like my father, giving line after line of wary instruction on how one should behave. I wasn't, actually, sure of who I might be sounding like. I certainly hoped this wasn't what I actually spoke like when I wasn't fumbling around in my brain with the script set for me by my father. "I have no idea where that came from," I pondered aloud, without paying much attention to Cira.

I stared at him for a few seconds and decided it was best not to reply. The past day has been probably one of the weirdest ever, if not even slightly embarrassing. Plus, I was getting talked at by Malfoy, so that certainly didn't help the situation.

"And you expect me to know where it came from?" I murmured to myself, my eyes narrowed in thought. This day has been pretty nerve wracking for both of us, I guess.

I shook my head, feeling a lot calmer than I had before my short little rant. "No. I just wish I did." It had taken me this long to realize how exhausted I actually was. "It's been a long day," I muttered, ignoring the fact that I would never normally say something like that. I guessed it didn't really matter with Cira, who probably knew more about me than I thought she did, if she really did hear that much at meetings.

I shrugged.

"Oh really? I hadn't noticed." I said sarcastically, staring at him for a few seconds before I looked away once more. It had been a long day, and it felt like all I wanted to do was sleep.

And that was odd. Because usually I dreaded going to sleep. It was then alcohol, I bet, and nearly getting my face torn off probably didn't help my plans of staying awake, either.

I looked back up at Draco, tons of thoughts running through my head as I studied his face. Any and all of his injury's were gone, and she saw his expression set in thought. It seemed as if he was a million miles away to me.
