Great Hall w/ Moodz and Ellie

"I can't ever say that I hate you." I said to him, having to raise my voice as I was getting further down the hall. "You like me, Draco. I can tell, and don't you dare say that you don't. You love me, but you will not admit it. I know for a fact that you have feelings for me, good feelings. "

"At some point, I could have. Maybe. Before today. But when you can't leave me to take care of my own business first? When you can't even mind your manners in front of the person who matters the most to me, which is a saying a lot? No. I don't even know how you claim love. As heartless as I've always aspired to being, you're ten times worse."
I knew any feelings that she did have would be crushed, but this is what I had to do, for now. She was ruining the perfect little charade that was my life.

I slowly turned around, turning to look at him with rage. I ground my teeth, spitting out a simple sentence. " Draco, you care for someone?! If you even remotly had any feeling for someone, had even the slightest bit of a soul, you would NOT have said that and you would NOT have hurt me like you have." I choked out, jumping up into the air and changing into my animagus. I swooped down in between Draco and Pansy, letting out a pure cry of agony. His words hurt me, and I wish that he had never said them.

I covered my head while still stunned at what had just happened. An unregistered animagus? This is what she'd been talking about, about the raven. Ironic, I suppose, but really not worth finding out. I wasn't prepared to have my eyes clawed out yet, thank you very much. I grabbed Pansy by the elbow and we turned tail to run towards the stairs to the dorms, taking as many twists and turns as possible, but we could never seem to evade the crazed bird that I had to keep reminding myself was actually Cira.

I let out one more cry before swooping out the window and into the rain, falling under the waight of the ever falling hail. I exploded back into my human form, pulling my robes tight around me, the hail hitting me. I felt warm blood trickle down my face.

As the bird finally stoped giving chase, Pansy and I ducked into a corridor that still managed not to be the stairs to the common room. Somehow we had all been endlessly sidetracked today. Oddly, before I even tended to the stitch in my side or the fact that Pansy was still crying, my mind went straight to Cira's well-being. She must have ducked out a window at some point, and now she would be out in the storm on her own. Finally, the sharp pain in my side distracted me from anything but the present moment and my pressed my hand to it, feeling as if I were holding my very guts in.
"Draco...what the hell was that?" Pansy asked, and I simply shrugged, aching.

I didn't even flinch as the hard chunks of cold ice made contact with my skin. Small drops of blood fell to the ground, mixing in with the rain. I was sitting on the ground, the pain from changing into the animagus dissapearing through the pain of the fact that Draco hated me. I closed my eyes, falling backward into the grass, lifeless As I drowning in my own sorrow.

As Pansy and I sat, heaving, in the hallway, I realized that we were now definitely missing class. Not that it mattered, we could pretend we were ill, if we really needed to. The thing was, Slytherins rarely skived and when we did, it was for good reason. It also helped that the class we were missing was taught by our Head of House, who knew (sort of) what was going on.
I expected Pansy to wither or sleep when our breathing finally slowed, but instead, she sat straight up and pierced me with her gaze. "I want to know what she was talking about. Why would she think you love her?" she asked, glaring with a power that someone like Pansy shouldn't have.
"It's nothing...I think she's playing games with me. You know there's no way that I'd go for all of that. She's too much of a queen bee." I reached out to wipe a last tear from her face, but she pulled away.
"Yeah, right, Draco. You admitted to having feelings for her! She wouldn't lie like that to your face. Maybe to others, that would make sense, but lying about you to you? That would just be stupid, and of all things that Cira Slytherin is, stupid is not one of them." She hopped to her feet and dusted off her robes which had frayed slightly at the bottom from being stepped on as we ran. "When you get your facts together, come talk to me."
I hung my head and wondered if I would end this day with anyone who would actually talk to me. First Nott, then Cira, and now Pansy, who actually mattered. Not that Cira didn't, on that note, but Pansy...that was a long-standing bond that I'd been denying for a long time, and now was it was fraying as easily as Pansy's cheap robe. I was royally screwed.

I sighed, closing my eyes as the ice hit closer to them. It wasn't the best time to go blind. My breathing was shallow, and I could here Draco and Pansy in the halls. They probably wouldn't notice me, though. I un-cleanched my jaw, relaxing completely on the cold, hard ground. I was crying again, but the tears were washed away from the heaving and sharp rain.

After I'd spent a good amount of time wallowing in self-pity (yeah, it's necessary. I'm Draco Malfoy, I deserve a little self-indulgence), I started to wonder what could have happened to Cira. I knew that she was gone, but not where she had went. I slowly walked back the way Pansy and I had come and didn't see anything but a window cut into the aged marble. Looking out and I around, I didn't see any ravens in sky or tree, so I looked downward. Automatically, my vision was drawn to a body lying on the ground. I squinted at it, but who else would it be? I quickly made my way downstairs (avoiding anyone I passed in the halls, as I was technically skiving) and out to the grounds, where I found Cira lying.

My throat closed up as I thought about todays events. Today was going good, I was having a nice time out side, wallowing in my own thoughts. But hen Draco came along with his faithful little servants, plus Pansy his aparent future wife. It brought on a whole new round of pain, this onealmost causing me to move from the little trance that I as in. I thought I herd somthing over the wind, but I thought that it was prbalt nothing.

I bent over her and cast a shield charm to protect the both of us from the elements that were whipping around and obviously causing her pain. I tried to call her name to her, even tried shaking her, but she lay there as if dreaming or dead. I knew that she wasn't dead, of course, or her breath wouldn't be coming out in frosty little puffs like it was, and her chest wouldn't be heaving every few inhalations. I didn't know any healing magic, never had any need for it, and I wondered what I was going to. I resumed shaking her and said her names a few times more, hoping she would open her eyes. The Dark Lord would not be pleased if she died, especially if he found a reason for it to be my fault.

With one more last cold gasp and one more desperate shake of my shoulders, I opened it eyes, and found that I was staring straight into emerald green irises. Draco. Yay. How much more better can this get?! He looked worried, but I quickly ruined the slight release from the pain by thinking that it was the ice that was hitting HIM that had caused him to look troubled. He was shielding my face, and I was glad for that. I could feel on cut on my face that would need profectianal treatment.

"Thank Merlin, thought I'd never get you awake. What in the name of our Dark Lord are you doing out here?" I raved when Cira finally opened her eyes. She still looked like she was probably pissed at me, but she also looked hurt and worried. I wondered if I would be able to carry her to the hospital wing or if I could just levitate her all the way there. I waited for her to respond so I could find out which she would prefer.

"I'm out here because I want to be." I said softly. I brought my hand up to may face, gently pressing it into the worst bleeding cut. I probably would need stitches. He actually looked... well... worried. Shocker, after what he had said to me. I tried to keep the grimace off my face as I felt more blood come out of the deep wound. What in the world was up with this weather?!

"Can you walk, or am I going to have to cast Wingardium Leviosa to get you to the hospital wing?" I asked, looking carefully at the cuts on her faces. I knew she'd never forgive the elements for messing with her Pureblood good looks (yeah, you couldn't deny it, most of us are gorgeous). I pulled her hand away to see how deep the cut was, but it was obscured by the amount of blood flowing from it. What a waste of that precious, sacred blood. This was an abomination; she needed to get Madam Pomfrey and soon.

"Good luck with that." I grumbled, sitting up and pulling my hood over my head. My scowl grew on my face, and I grabbed part of my robe and pressed it into my cut. "I think my legs are fine." I sighed, putting my hand behind my to keep my balance on the ground. I glared up at the sky, and sighed again, glancing over at Draco. There was a bit of my blood on his hand from when he pulled my hand away from the cut. It was a nice, gentle move. But if he thought he could get off that easily, he was wrong.

"You don't look like you're okay at all," I said, frowning. I looked down at my hand where there was a smear of crimson. "I really don't think you should be walking. The blood loss is going to make you dizzy, I've seen it before." I didn't feel like explaining why I had seen, time and again, injuries bad enough to incapacitate people, even if she had probably seen it countless times as well. "So would you rather trust my arms or my magic?"

I raised my eye brows at him. He wasn't that good with magic, but he did have a tad bit of muscle. "Both, I suppose. And I feel fine." I lied. Well, the last part was a lie. Truthfully I was in pain, and I don't think that even with magic that my head was going to stop hurting for a while. The cut was throbbing, but at least the rain and hail was starting to quite down.

I raised my eyebrows and watched as she winced. I shook my head at her stubbornness and reached down to pick her up, hoping that I didn't get slapped or worse, cursed. She only stiffened, though, and I started to carry her towards the school. "Won't this look cozy?" I asked, laughing at the thought of people watching me carry her into the school like a groom carrying his bride.

I Rolled my eyes at him, the glared as he picked me up, laughing. "Sure." I muttered, still annoyed and in pain. I was glad that everyone was in class. If someone saw this then spread it around the school, someone might just end up gettng hurt, and who wants that? I decided to trust him, and relaxed into his arms.

I was glad when she finally loosened up in my arms. It was really hard to carry her when she was all locked up at the joints like she had been at first. As I entered the halls, I glanced around and was extremely happy to find that there was no one in the halls. I walked as quickly as I could towards the hospital wing, but as I turned a corner, I ran directly into someone who subsequently fell to the floor. I couldn't see over Cira who it was.

I let out a sharp gasp as Draco jerked to a stop, and I ended up rolling out of his arms ad onto the floor. I moaned as a sharp pain shot up my arm, and I struggled to getup to see who had caused Draco to sudenly stumble like that. It wasnt helping my curret mood.

Cira fell from my arms, and my first instinct was to drop to the floor with her and see if she was okay, but when I saw who stood before me, I merely lowered my head in reverence. "Father," I said, bowing before him and then looking up, silently asking permission to kneel down and check on the girl's safety. Father spoke down to me as I muttered over Cira's body, now even more hurt than before.

"I was owled by Severus that something was going on that needed my assistance. Does this have something to do with it?" he asked, and I glanced up questioningly. I had no clue what Professor Snape would need father for.

I looked up, glaring at Dracos father. I clutched at my arm, and let Draco try and help me up.
"Hello, Mr. Malfoy. Oh this? Your son Draco here was just helping me come in from out side. I had fallen from a tree and couldent get up. He was just helping me. Its raining somehting awful out there." my eyes are already large from the pain, so all I needed to d was place an inoccent look on my face for him to believe me.
