Do You Know Your Enemy?

Cor decided he would let Les finish her transfiguration homework and then pounce.

"Good enough," She muttered screwing the lid back on top of her ink bottle and hoping that her assignment dried soon so she could move it out of the way of getting destroyed by something.

"Hello, there!" Corey burst in the room. Hopefully, if nothing else, he could nag her for a while. It'd probably be just as fun as actually convincing her to do anything. "Are you all done being a stick in the mud?"

Lesley glanced over her shoulder, sighing audibly at Corey. "No I'm not," She said blowing on her transfiguration. "Don't you have more important people to annoy?"

Corey winked. "You're plenty important. I spread out my annoying pretty evenly, but when a certain person looks like they are in extra need of annoying, I donate a bit more time to that person. You seem to need it pretty badly."

Lesley rolled her eyes at him. "I'm fine thank-you," She said rolling up her assignment and placing it carefully into her bag. Hoping that nothing too bad happened to it. "You can go annoy someone else, I'm sure they'd appreciate it better. Like, I dunno. Anyone really." She leaned back in the chair, knowing she wasn't going to get anything else done with Corey there.

"But that's the beauty in it. You don't appreciate it at all because you need it the most. Everyone takes their turn. If I want to annoy you, I'm going to annoy you, whether you want it or not. Besides, I'm not technically deliberately annoying you. I'm just trying to get you to see the world outside your little bubble."

Lesley whacked herself in the face with her hand. "Nobody needs to be annoyed Corey, people who annoy just seem to think that so they can continue to annoy people." She rolled her eyes at him. "And you are, the only reason you took my book was because it annoyed me, and it annoyed me futhur trying to get it back off of you. So it would be nice, if you left me. And my little bubble alone."

"Pop," Corey said, a sly smile on his face. "Pop, pop, pop goes the bubble." He poked the air around Lesley's head, completely ignoring most of what she had said. She was being ridiculous, anyway, he was sure.

Lesley whacked herself in the face before she stared at Corey with a 'are you serious?' type of expression, before rolling her eyes at him. "Pop yourself," She muttered under her breath, drawing a loop around her in the air with her finger. "My bubble is now unpopable." She told him.

Corey laughed. "That's cheating, and besides, I have a bubble popper that pierces everything. That includes unpoppable bubbles. So, sorry, honey, you're out of luck. Your bubble is going bye-bye."

"Pfft," Lesley said. "You can't pop and unpopable bubble. Because unpopable bubbles are unpopable." She gave him a 'that is really obvious' sort of look. "So therefore, me and my bubble are staying intact and you and your fail of a bubblepoper can bugger off."

"Yes, the bubble may be unpoppable. But what if I am not actually popping it? What if I am slicing through it with a knife? What if I am setting it on fire? It is a bubble, and unpoppable or not, it is rather fragile."

"My bubble is made out of metal, you can't set it on fire, or cut it with a knife. Or pop it." Lesley told him. "It's an invincible bubble." She told him with a look of seriousness. "So no, you can not pop my bubble with anything."

Cor smiled. "And that is where you are wrong. If your bubble was made of metal, I would not be able to see you." He took his hand and tweaked her nose, trying to annoy her.

Lesley whacked his hand scrunching up her nose. "My bubble is magical, you can see through it, but you can't destroy it." She gave him a frustrated look. Grabbing her bag, and deciding she may as well try, even if she was only going to get a few lines done.

"Your bubble is not magic, because clearly my hand goes straight through it. Unless my hands are more magic." Cor winked.

Lesley gave him a dark look. "Oh bugger off," She said sourly pulling out her books.

Cor shook his head. "Why are you such a sour-puss? There's nothing to gain from being an old fuddy-duddy, you know. Absolutely nothing."

"And there is nothing you can gain from being annoying. It's annoying, and frustrating. And I'm trying to do my work." She gave him a sour look. "So bugger off, and let me do what I want. And if you don't like it, well, woopdedoo to you. You don't have to put up with it." She grabbed her stuff, all of it this time, and bundled it into her bag.

Cor yawned. "Someone is in a foul mood. I'll come back on a day when you're feeling better. A lot more fun when you don't want to eat my head."

"Oh my god, Fuck off," Lesley exclaimed probably a little too loudly as a few people glanced at her. "Just, leave me alone. Ugh." She swung her bag across her shoulder, heading towards the dorm rooms.

Cor sat down.

This was going to be a tough sell,

And a lot of fun.

"You're in a bad mood," Becca commented as Les flounced down on her bed. "Stupid fricken annoying people annoying me." Lesley muttered pulling her books out. Becca smiled. "That's why, you do your homework up here." "Common room's nicer," Les muttered with a sigh. "True that."

Corey did something or other to pass the time. Maybe he bugged someone else. I dunno. I have no idea what he does in his spare time.
