| Cor grinned. "There we go. Was that really that hard? I was wondering how long it would take you to break down." He winked--the cussing was all he needed to hear. He tossed her her book and let the door open.
"Have we learned anything today?"

| "Oh my god," Lesley exclaimed shoving her book into her bag. As she went to leave the common room she saw another book lying on a table. "Here," She said turning around. "Go annoy someone else." She threw the book in his general direction turning to leave before finding out whether or not it had hit her target. "Jesus christ." She muttered leaving the common room. | |

| Cor smiled. With a quick flip of his wand, the book was back where it belonged. "Nice meeting you too, Les," he shouted behind her. Checking his watch, he started walking, timing his speed so that he would be about five minutes late to class.
The beauty of not following the rules and getting away with it.

| Lesley fumed as she made her way to class, now too late to get breakfast. Grumbling as she walked she pulled out her timetable, having not yet remembered what class she had when. Corey was as frustrating as hell, but, at least now she had her book back she didn't need to be anywhere near him. Unless he decided to be annoying, which she wouldn't put past him. She got to class on time and sat somewhere in the middle of the chairs, dumping her bag onto the ground under the table. | |

| Corey ambled into class just late, and since most people sat in the front or the back of the classroom, the only seat available was next to Lesley. Cor grinned.
Perfect. He would get another chance to bug the crap out of her. It was starting to become a past time of his--it was rather entertaining.

| Lesley glanced sideways as someone sat down next to her, groaning slightly when she saw who it was. She glanced away from Corey and back to the front of the room to the teacher who was ignoring Corey coming in five minutes later. Lesley sighed, tuning back it to the teacher, who was talking about something that sounded rather uninteresting. | |

| Cor was bored. The teacher was rambling on about something he understood a long time ago. Why couldn't she just shut up?
Staring over at goody-two-shoes Lesley, Corey had an idea. What if he started to cause some trouble. THAT would make the teacher stop talking. If only he could figure out a way to get her involved...

| Lesley ignored Corey, though she knew that he was probably going to be trying to plot something. He was just that type of person. | |

| "Oi," Cor whispered, flinging a piece of paper at Les's head. "You want to help me with something? You look bored stuff, and we both already understand what she's teaching. If you don't, I can teach it to you later, no tricks, no strings attached. Just magic. And no one is going to get hurt if you help me out. It'll be fun." | |

| Although the peice of paper didn't hurt, out of habit Lesley rubbed her head where it had hit her. She picked up the ball of paper and gave Corey a frustrated look. "Bugger off," She muttered flinging it back at him. She was somewhat curious however. | |

| Although Lesley was acting indignant, Cor noticed a hint of something else entering her eyes. Curiosity, perhaps? "You're interested in what I have to say. Don't deny it. It'll be fun. Trust me." He almost threw in a wink, but if he wanted her to take him seriously, for once, and win her over to the dark side, he would have to act seriously. Just this once. | |

| Lesley looked at him, her eyes narrowed, deciding whether or not. She was curious, but, she wasn't too sure. She didn't want to do something stupid, but, well, she had to admit she was curious. She frowned softly. "Fine," She said. "Tell me your idea, and, we'll see what I think from there." She was bored with the class anyway. What could happen? | |

| Corey smirked. She was still cautious at this point, but he had won her over. "Well, see, we're talking about transfiguring tea cups, right? Well, I was thinking that MAYBE we could demonstrate something a bit more... advanced than that. We've been working with stupid tea cups for so long it is absolutely ridiculous. Do you see what I'm getting at?" | |

| Lesley looked at him, continuing to frown. She quite agreed, she was quite bored with teacups. She'd been bored with teacups for ages. For some reason the teachers enjoyed pulling out teacups all of the time and the telling them how to transfigure it. She looked at Corey warily. "Such as?" She asked him, wondering what scheme he was thinking up in his mind. | |

| Corey grinned. She was hooked. Everyone was bored with teacups. They all had been for a while. Corey, however, had not thought his plan through all the way, yet. He had gotten through the "convincing Les" stage, but he had not quite figured out what to transfigure yet.
That was when he saw an old set of transfiguration books in the corner.
"Those," Corey said. They had not learned transfiguring books--the fact that they were made of both ink and paper and cloth for binding meant that they were harder than the solid ceramic glassware. However, they should be able to manage it. It was nothing they couldn't do. "They are old books, and about to be thrown away anyway."

| Lesley's eyes flicked from Corey to the books. Books would be quite interesting in fact. They had never attempted books. So, it could turn out well, or it could turn out horribly wrong. Lesley was hoping for the former. "Okay," She said with a nod. "Fine." She leaned back in her chair and waved her hand in the direction of the books. "You can go first." | |

| Cor winked at Lesley and pulled his wand out under his robes. He muttered a few words and prayed for the best.
At first, it looked like nothing was happening. However, then the top book started to grow and change. Cor grinned as it turned into a modified muggle firework--this kind would not set the school on fire. In fact, it was pretty failproof. He wanted to set it off, but he would wait until the rest of the books were changed.

| "Fireworks," Lesley muttered under her breath as she watched the books turn into fireworks. "Classy." She shook her head slightly, thinking how very wrong this could go. Not only about transfiguring things they weren't meant to, she knew that if things proceded the way that they were that it would end awfully. But she glanced out of the corner of her eye at Corey. And knew, that now that she had accepted, she couldn't back out. She just couldn't. So much for Ravenclaws being clever. She grabbed her wand, and pointed it at the books under the table. Whispered the spell, she scrunched her nose as she waited to see what happened. Relieved when it didn't blow up in her face. | |

| The pair worked through the large stack of books. Near the end, Cor had to laugh, amazed they had not gotten caught so far. Then again, if they had, he would just smooth their way out of this horrible mess. That was something he was rather good at--after all, he had convinced goody-two-shoes Les to make books into fireworks.
Soon, they had gone through the entire stack. "You ready to make some noise?" Cor asked Lesley, grinning.

| Lesley looked at the pile of fireworks, that oddly no-one had noticed and glanced at the teacher who somehow hadn't noticed that the two weren't even looking at her. She turned to look at Corey. "Okay," She said with a slight smile. "Buuut, it's all your fault if we get caught. I did nothing. It wouldn't help to ruin good impressions, because then I may have to actually listen in class. And I'd rather not." | |

| Cor smirked. "Les, dear, if we get caught, it shall be no big deal at all. I could get away with murder if I needed to. A few measly fireworks are not a big deal at all."
Using his wand, he set the first wick on fire, kicking it in front of the desk of the girl across the hall from him.

| Lesley rolled her eyes at him. "Right," She said with a disbelieving nod. "Whatever you say." Lesley flicked her wand at the fireworks setting off another one, which fizzled for a few moments before it created a large bang and proceeded to zoom around the room. Lesley ducked her head as it soared above her. | |

| Cor grinned as they set off firework after firework. They were timed so that they went off at almost the exact same time, which was lots of fun--the other students were freaking out while the teacher was in panic. Cor went along with the crowd, acting convincingly normal while the whole thing went down. It was just another prank, and half the fun was not getting caught. | |

| "Fireworks," Lesley muttered with a shake of her head, ducking again as they continued to burst around the room. Students were making all sorts of noises, which varied between amused, nervous and just "what the heck is going on" the teacher was looking rather frantic. "Class," She yelled trying to get their attention over the fireworks and failing. She said somethign else, that Lesley didn't hair before hands over her head she made her way out of the classroom. Probably to get someone who could help with the fireworks. | |

| Once they got out of the classroom, running away with the rest of the mob, Cor met up with Lesley. The rest of the class was pairing up, so it was safe to do the same. "So, what do you think? Breaking the rules is not half bad, is it? I'm kind of surprised you followed through--I expected you to wimp out." | |
