I Don't Play Your Rules, I Make My Own

Cassie glared at her. "Get stuffed," She muttered darkly, feeling for a pulse. Releived that she could find one. "She should be okay," Cassie muttered softly. "Should, will," Reg said. "Lot of difference between the two words." "Oh go away!" Cassie shouted at her. "What? And miss the fun of seeing if she makes it? Hardly." But she disapeared anyway.

But, yeah, Lyssa wasn't actually taking breaths, pulse or not.

Cassie bit her lip frustrated. Then started doing CPR, thinking that there is probably a magical way to do it, but she didn't know it. So yeah.

However, after a moment of Cassie doing that, Lyssa still didn't take a gasp.

"Breath dammit!" Cassie cried, starting to do it again. "For fucking sake, breath."

Finally, after what was probably an eternity to Cassie, Lyssa gasped. And then some more times as well.

"Thank god," Cassie murmered

After a few moments of that, Lyssa looked at Cassie, and even though she hadn't fully regained her breathing gasped out, "Cassie."

"You scared me half to death," Cassie said hugging the girl loosely.

"Sorry."

Sometime later the girl's got home, Cassie sat down on the couch, propping her feet up on a footstool.

"Well, I'm glad you're relaxed," Lyssa muttered sarcastically as she came in behind Cassie.

"Do you want me to throw a few things into the wall?" Cassie asked her.

"Not really, I'm getting tired of fixing them again. Was just commenting on how you seem unconcerned that I might actually die soon."

"Hmm?" Cassie asked, confused looking up at her.

"If that Death Eater bitch tells Voldemort that I didn't do anything but stand around I'm toast."

"You didn't really have a chance to do anything, like really, how are you meant to do something when you're half unconcious?"

Lyssa shrugged. "He's not going to care."

"Well he's an idiot."

"Well, I'm in trouble."

"I don't know what to do," Cassie said with a slight frown.

"I'll just face it I guess..."

"Hmm," Cassie said.

The two hadn't been home long when Lyssa's mark burned. "Guessing he's found out," she muttered.

Cassie scowled slightly, making a face at her arm. The two apperated to the manor.
