I'm Guessing You Can't Always Win

"Nothing."

"Mkay," Tay said watching her.

Lani forced her eyes so as to prove her statement, but just closed them again as the room began to move in a circle.

"You sure?" Tay asked her.

"Not really."

"What is it?"

"Just a little dizzy is all."

"How come?"

"Dunno."

"Hm," Tay said with a slight frown.

"Why do you care anyway?"

"Cause I have a conscious?" Taylor suggested.

"And I helped torture you. That should lay it to rest."

"Maybe I'm just a nice person?"

"Maybe I don't care."

"Well you don't look very flash there," Tay said.

Lani shrugged.

Taylor got the two of them food.

Lani poked at hers not having much of an appetite.

"It's not spiked if that's what you're problem is."

"Don't really care if it is or isn't."

Taylor shrugged. Her eyes flickered to Regan who was staring at the food skepticly.

Lani just leaned back again the wall, sliding down to where she was almost just laying there.

Taylor glanced at the girls again and than walked out of the room. She needed to get to the shop and open it for some of the day as well. If the kids weren't so little she'd leave them in charge.

By the end of the day Lani was actually laying on the ground.
