I'm leaving this history behind me. Burn me off your family tree but nothing can stop me.

"Indeed to the kitchen unless your mother's making dinner and kicks us out."

He shrugged. "She won't be cooking yet, so we should be fine."

"Suppose...."

"C'mon," he said, leading them to the kitchens.

They followed.

"So, what do you want to eat?"

"Food."

James rolled his eyes. "How did I know you were going to say that?"

"Well, you've known me for five years. I assume it's happened a lot."

He shook his head, and waved his hand. "Help yourself."

Sirius grinned. "Gladly." And so the three non-James Marauders set to getting food.

James grabbed something too, and nom nom nom.

Soon they were all full and had probably ruined dinner.

But as like teenage boys, they eat alot and probably would eat dinner anyway. "Now what?" James asked.

"We should ask if we can Floo to Diagon Alley!"

"I like that idea," he said with a nod. "Where is my mother?" He wondered.

"She was upstairs when I went outside," Remus offered helpfully.

"Lemme go find her," he said and disappeared throughout the house calling for his mother. He came back a few minutes later, grinning. "She said we can have dinner there if we want, as long as we aren't out too late and Remus and Peter's parents don't mind. Which I'm sure they won't. Shall we go?"

"YES," Sirius said enthusiastically.

James grinned, and they went to whatever room the fireplace and floo powder was in.

And they went to Diagon Alley.

James put his glasses back on. "Where to first?" he asked.

Sirius laughed. "I'm surprised you didn't run for the Quidditch store before asking us where we want to go."

James grinned. "I'm being the polite house owner or whatever it's called."

"The correct term is host, Prongs," Remus supplied.
