I'm leaving this history behind me. Burn me off your family tree but nothing can stop me.

"Yep!" James said with a grin.

The trio headed outside.

And got out the quidditch stuff.

And played Quidditch. Which Sirius failed at marvelously.

And James was awesome at, which he was happy about.

They were in the middle of playing some hours later when Sirius noticed that Remus had woken up and wandered outside to stand next to where Peter was sitting. Not really minding as he was losing, Sirius landed and walked over to the two other boys.

"Morning Moony," James said landing beside Sirius, holding the quaffle (or whatever they were using as a quaffle) in one arm.

"It's four in the afternoon, James," was Remus's reply.

"I know, but you just woke up, so," he shrugged.

"Well, technically no. I've been up for about an hour. I was helping your mum with stuff."

"Oh dear, what did my mother drag you into?" he peered at the boy. "Nothing too horrible I hope?"

"She just needed some help reaching things and so grabbed the first tall, gangly teenager she ran across."

James shook his head. "That woman has magic and instead drags poor gangly teenagers to do it for her."

"I didn't mind at all. I don't mind helping people, you know."

"That's cause you are a nice and helpful person," James told him.

Remus shrugged. "What were you lot doing out here?" he asked.

"Playing Quidditch," Sirius answered. "Or well, James was playing and I was making a fool of myself on a broom."

James grinned. "Come join us, I'm pretty sure I could still beat the both of you."

"I like to keep both feet on the ground, thanks."

"Spoil sport, what about you Pete? Then Remus can ref."

Peter shook his head quickly.

"No fun," James complained. "Flying isn't going to kill you."

"Prongs, leave 'em be. I'm hungry anyway," Sirius said, coming to the rescue.

"Fiiine," he muttered. "To the kitchens!"

"Hey, I haven't eaten today if you remember the fiasco that was me trying to eat breakfast. Although, thanks to that we're all here instead of just half, but you know..."

James frowned for a moment, and grabbed the brooms going to put them in the shed. "To the kitchens?" he repeated coming back.
