This is where a very imaginative title goes.

Madie sat in the common room, one Saturday. Madie was sitting there with her puzzle book, which at the moment was open onto a cross word. "What's a six letter word for hate?" she mused to no-one in particular. "Wait no. Got it," she said a moment after scrawling it down in pencil. "Though that means the second letter of that word is an a..." She glanced down at the clue thinking. "You want to go down for lunch soon?" she asked Lorc.

Lorc looked up from the book he'd been studying. It was Ancient Runes, the only subject he was bad at. "I'm not very hungry..." he muttered, even though he'd skipped breakfast to study. But, he just had to learn this one last bit...

"You mister, are coming down to eat with me," she said. "You can go and study again later, but food is a must. And if I have to stare at this crossword for any longer my head might just explode. And we don't want that. Cause you probably couldn't read your book if my head exploded all over it..." she trailed off, frowned and shook her head.

"Mads, really...I'm not hungry," Lorc muttered. "Go without me?" However, just at that moment, his stomach gave a mutinous growl which caused Lorcan's face to color pink in embarrassment. "Erm...." he muttered hopelessly.

Madie raised an eyebrow at him. "Not hungry huh?" she asked, pulling his book out from under him. "You mister, are not getting this back till you've come and eaten," she shut it and placed it on her lap putting her hands on top of it.

"Give it back," Lorc said in a voice that was probably the most serious tone he'd ever used. "Now." And he meant busy. It took a lot to annoy him (he lived with Lysander after all) but interfering with his studying was one of the few things that could.

"Fine," She threw his book back at him. Not in the mood to pull Lorc down to lunch if he didn't want to. "Well I'm going to go eat, you can starve if you want," she said standing up and shoving her puzzle book into her bag, she pocketed the pencil.

"Fine," Lorcan replied, immediately opening the book back to the page he had been on when it was stolen from him and scanning the page quickly to find his place again. "Have fun with lunch."

Madie sighed, and went to dump her bag back into the dorm so that she didn't need to carry it around with her, and than headed down to lunch.
