Cassie and Lyssa: Rise of Audentia

In her mind Lyssa was scowling, and death glaring like mad. Stupid bloody Voldemort. Did he have to have so much practice with these freaking spells? She tried once again to push out the force that was controlling her against her will and nearly stumbled back in shock as it gave away.

Cassie was still glaring at Voldemort oblivious to lights and sounds behind her, the rest of the war didn't matter to her right now she only cared about her freind, the one who the annoying git of a dark lord had imperised. Her eyes went wide when she saw the look fad off Lyssa.

Lyssa blinked in shock a couple of times as she got her control back. It was slightly disorienting after all, not having control one second and having it the next. It was also sort of like a headrush. She blinked again.

Cassie wondered what was going to happpen next or if Voldemort had any idea that Lyssa had just gotten out of his imperio. She frowned slightly waiting for someone else to do something as she was unsure of what to do herself.

Once having oriented herself again Lyssa scowled, outwardly this time, and looked to glare straight at Voldemort. "You had no right to do that!" she said angrily, glare intensifying. "Just because of one fucking thing! People are going to disagree with you, you know, but that doesn't give you the right or means to use Imperio on them to accomplish what you want!"

Cassie inwardly smiled at Lyssa's ranting, she watched with a frown as Voldemort's eyes grew colder then they were and he raised his wand. "Oi," Cassie shouted. "Did not one word of what she just said get through your miniscule brain?"

Lyssa looked at her. "You stay out of this," she snapped.

Draco was pleased to notice that once the Order had shown up not only were things more evenly matched, but the numbers per side had evened out. Although he wasn't too pleased with having to have the Order help them out.

"Fine," Cassie said throwing her arms up. "I'll just go and see if anyone else wants me to help fight Death Eaters."

Lucy was getting considerably better as the duels continued, her offensive had always been better then her defensive and she had to phyically dodge a few of the spells. She had frowned when more people had appeared but didn't think of it now.

"You do that then," Lyssa remarked. She wasn't in the mood.

Draco dodged a spell as he wove through the people. He hoped no one would care enough to notice his absence. He was more curious what was going on with Cassie, and all that, since Voldemort was there. He ducked into an alley to see someone else there, looking as though they were taking a break from all the action.

Cassie scowled but didn't walk off her eyes darting between Voldemort (Who was being oddly quiet as if he was thinking of what to do next) and Lyssa who was glaring at the Dark Lord. He raised his wand and Cassie frowned but let Lyssa dicide what she wanted to do.

The Slytherin ducked into an allyway as some member of the other group ran past, she frowned and pushed her hair behind her ears getting ready to go back out again, out of the corner of her eye she saw movment and darted around her wand held out in front of her.

Draco stopped walking down the alley when the person turned to him, wand out. He looked at them for a moment before saying, "I know you. You were in the same house as me, a couple years younger I think." Then he looked confused. "What are you doing here?"

The Slytherin frowned and then saw the face of the boy in front of her, Draco Malfoy, it had been his last year this year and he'd been Head Boy. Lucy thought he was kind of cute but now really wasn't the moment to get into it. "Dueling." She said simply.

Draco gave her a look. "I figured that much out myself," he said, raising an eyebrow. "And you know very well what I meant by the question. Really there's no point in avoiding it."

Lucy scowled. "You're like your sister." She muttered under her breath glowering at Draco. "It's kind of Obvious really, you would have noticed me before if I was on your side."

"Well we are twins," Draco muttered. "And you do have a valid point there, but I'd rather let the person say, instead of asuming something, since there's always the chance that the assumption could be wrong. It's something I've come to learn."

Lucy rolled her eyes at the Malfoy babbled. "Are you done?" She asked him rubbing her arm again, it was getting more itchy by the moment and was bugging the ever living hell out of her.

"Of course I'm not," he said sarcastically back. "I'm a Malfoy, and we just love the sound of our voices." Then in a not sarcastic tone he said, "Yes."

Lucy laughed slightly and rolled her eyes at the Malfoy. "Okay, I know this sounds stupid but truce? I won't hex you if you don't hex me, because really I don't want to duel right now.

Draco shrugged lightly. "Fine by me, since I'm not really in the mood to duel either." They stood there for a second.

Lucy nodded and sighed twirling her wand slightly in her hand. She wondered what ws happening to everyone else, she ahdn't seen Voldemort since they entered the battle, she hadn't actaully seen him before the batle either but she had heard him.

Draco suddenly got the feeling he was forgetting something, then remembered. Then he wondered how he'd forgotten he was on his way to where his sister was. He looked at Lucy, wondering if he should say something since they had been talking before he left, but shrugged and started to walk by her.

Lucy watched as Draco walked by then diciding she didn't want to stay in a ally on her own hurried after him. "I'm coming." She muttered gancing over her shoulder. "Don't care that your on the other side, the Dark Lords a git anyway."

Draco blinked when Lucy caught up with him. "Um...ok..." he muttered, feeling somewhat awkward, because not only were they one different sides, but it was weird just talking to someone you don't know very well in a situation like this, with the fighting and such going on. They walked to where the three were, and stopped out of sight.

From what Lucy could hear there was an arguement going on which didn't exactly sound pleasent but she had to admire the guts of the girls actually argueing at him. "I vote we hit him in the back with a curse while he's distracted talking to them?" Lucy suggested unsure if it would really work.

Draco looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "Gryffindor," he muttered under his breath before saying where she cuold hear, "Any plan's better than no plan, so why don't we. And if it works then we'll have basically ended the war."
