Some Things Are Easier Said Then Done

Lyssa nodded. "I feel fine." She was quiet for a moment, thinking. "You don't think that it could be the potion, do you?"

Cassie frowned slightly. "It could be," She said. "Side effect or something."

Lyssa bit her lip. "I really hope it's not," she said. "Remember what they said would happen if there was any? That I would have to stop with this one and get the one that would make me, no exactly me anymore."

Cassie frowned. "I hope not too, I don't want you to go all Malfoy-like."

"Well, I don't exactly want to either," Lyssa replied. "I think, that maybe, we'll just keep all this a secret. No matter how bad it gets."

"Alright," Cassie said with a nod helping Lyssa get to her feet as the girl was still lying on the ground.

Lyssa sighed as the two made their way back over to the couch. "This year is not going so well..."

Cassie frowned.

Another week or so went by, Lyssa's headaches and fainting spells becoming slightlymore frequent. But thankfully no adults noticed them yet.

Cassie did not like the sideeffects of the potion, it was making her slightly anxious as to if anything else as going to hapena and what would happen if they didn'tget better or if an adult noticed.

"Cassie," Lyssa said as she leaned back on one her bed's pillow," stop worrying so much. Someone's going to notice." Lyssa herself was in the process of getting over a headache, the two of them having decided that it would be a better idea not to go to the nurse evvery time it happened, since that would get suspiciuos.

"Well I can't stop worring," Cassie said. "I'll just try not to show my worrying I suppose? I dunno."

Lyssa gave her a small smile."That's all I can ask I suppose."

The two girls made their way to transfiguration not that long after.

The class went by well enough, at least until McGonagall said she wanted to talk with Lyssa after class. Lyssa frowned to herself and asked Cassie once McGonagall had walked off, "Do you think she knows what's going on?"

"I don't know." Cassie said with a frown as she walked off. "I hope not, that could be disasterous."

The class came to an end and everyone walked out, except for Lyssa who walked to McGonagall's desk after telling Cassie she'd meet her outside. "You er...wanted to talk to me professor?" the Malfoy girl said tentatively.

Cassie sighed as she went to wait outside the door.

"Miss Malfoy, your concerntration seems to be laking of late, why is this?"

Lyssa frowned. This wasn't likely to turn out good. Curse McGonagall's attentiveness to her students. "It's nothing professor. Honestly. Just getting used to things still."

"It doesn't seem like nothing Miss Malfoy," McGonagall said. "And it isn't just a lack of concerntration because both you seem as if you are in pain and Miss Evans seems to be quite worried about something."

Lyssa frowned. "It really is nothing, professsor. If there were anything, I would come talk to you about it."

McGonagall sighed. "Miss Malfoy, if being a teacher for how long I have has taight my anything is that students despite saying that they will do not come and talk to teachers about problems where telling might have a bad sideeffect."

Lyssa internally flinched, struggling to find some way to get McGonagall to let the topic go. "There's nothing wrong. I promise."

McGonagall sighed. "You cant just ignore it Miss Malfoy, it will most likeley just get worse."

Lyssa let out a little laugh. "Professor, there is nothing, so nothing could possibly-" She stopped talking as her vision darkened for a moment, praying that she didn't faint right now. Not in front of McGonagall. But, unfortunately, Lyssa found herself momentarily unconscious a second later.
