Some Things Are Easier Said Then Done

Cassie looked sideways at Professor McGonagall who smiled midly. Cassie was about to say something when the healer came back in. "Miss Malfoy," He said. "From the tests that I took you do have a personality disorder."

Lyssa frowned. "Well I'd already figured that out for myself oddly enough," she replied, giving the healer a look that said 'get on with it already. I want to leave'.

Cassie giggled in spite of herself as the healer continued, ignoring what Lyssa said. "While we have had a number of cases like this what works for one person doesn't always work for another. So we will have to try a few things until we get something that works."

Lyssa frowned at the healer, mood souring. "And how long is this going to take? I have school, and I dont' want to get behind."

"It depends on what works, hopefully only a few days but it may take longer." Cassie frowned at him. "Why are you standing there doing nothing then?" A voice asked from the doorway. "You should be halfwell done to healing my child." Cassie turned to see Narcissa stroll in giving the healer an irritated look.

Lyssa frowned more at the appearance of her mother. She didn't really want her there at the moment. Then she sighed, running her hand through her hair. "Look," she said, voice getting quiet, "can we just get this over with? I have a terrible dislike for hospitals and I just want to leave, but I'm being forced against my will to stay, since apparently, I'm no longer fine just the way I am, though it was just fine with people forthe last two years."

"We just need to make sure that you stay fine and that it doesn't get worse." The Healer said and after a look at Narcissa who was staring at him impatiently and looking as if she was about to say something else he walked out of the room mumbling about being right back with something that Cassie didn't quite catch.

Lyssa rolled her eyes and muttered to herself, "It's obviously not getting worse, as it's beginning to get less frequent nowadays. Honestly these people..." She crossed her arms over her chest and looked at the floor.

"They just want to make sure," McGonagall told her. Narcissa took up a chair and sat down in it. Cassie decided that Narcissa could be pretty scarey when it came to the health and saftey of her kids and made a mental note to never get on the wrong side of her. She feared for the healer dude.

"But I'm fine," Lyssa protested. "This is all making me seem like I'm mental or something unpleasant like that. I'm not mental!"

"But Lyss," Cassie said. "Don't you want it to away cause otherwise you might flip at random times which might lead to disaster.."

Lyss opened her mouth to protest, but stopped, realizing she didn't have an argument. A moment later the healer dude came back with some stuff, which Lyssa supposed was going to be used to 'fix' her. She inwardly shuddered at the word.

The healer person came back and gave Lyssa a potion which Cassie did not like the look of. It was kinda oddly coloured and it didn't look very pleasent to taste.

Lyssa look skeptically at the potion she was now holding. Then she looked up at the healer. "I'm not drinking this. It looks dreadful."

"Medicine always is," Cassie said. "It's a wonder with all this magic they cant make medicine taste nice."

Lyssa nodded in agreeance, holding the potion away from her.

"The magic used would interfere with what the potion is meant to do." McGonagall said from the other side of the room. "Just drink it Miss Malfoy, the sooner you drink it the sooner we can see if it works and the sooner you can leave."

Lyssa frowned at her professor. "But it looks nasty, and potions wear off so if it did work I would have to drink it more than once, and I'm not going to do that."

"If it works we can duplicate the properties to make it pernament," The Healer said. "The potion is just so we can guage what works and what doesn't, so we don't do something pernament that doesn't work and may do something harmful."

Lyssa shrugged. "Don't care. Still not drinking it."

Cassie looked at the healer. "She's a Gryffindor," She said. "She's not going to drink it and standing there just makes you look foolish."

"Exactly," Lyssa said, nodding her head. The healer shook their head at her. "This is the most common treatment. We have to try it."

"You can't duplicate the propities of a potion with magic though," Cassie said remembering something from Potions class. "Because otherwise there would be no need of potions."

The healer frowned at her for exposing his lie. Lyssa frowned even more. "I suggest you get this...this concoction away from me before I drop it on the floor."

"And," Cassie said. "If you try and make her drink it I will hit you." Cassie heard McGonagall sigh but she ignored her looking at the healer threatingly. The healer gave Cassie an irritated look and walked out of the room. Cassie knew that even if the potion did work it wouldn't last long and potions properties couldn't be copied.
