Some Things Are Easier Said Then Done

McGonagall sighed watching Lyssa fall over. A few moments later the girl was awake again. "Are you alright?" She asked her.

Lyssa pushed herself up with a frown. Now McGonagall was never going to leave her alone. "Yes, professor, I'm fine," she said.

McGonagall sighed at her. "If these are side effects of the potion Miss Malfoy we are going to have to take you off it."

"No!" Lyssa cried, before collecting herself. "I mean, I don't even know if they are or not and really, stopping it now would just be counterproductive and I would have to miss more school if you did and everything would just be a mess..." Lyssa rambled on quickly, slowing and trailing off at the end.

"Miss Mafoy," McGonagall sighed. "The hospital gaves us strict orders to stop the potion if you displayed any side effects. They listed what could be possible side effects and headaches and fainting were two of them."

Lyssa felt as if she were on the verge of crying out of the desperation she was feeling. "Professor McGonagall, you can't. You would really have them make me someone I'm not? I'm doing just fine."

"You're not doing fine Miss Malfoy, you just dead fainted."

"That? That was nothing," she stuttered out. She was quickly running out of argument.

"Miss Malfoy I am not an idiot." McGonagall said.

"Professor, please," Lyssa said. "Don't make me stop. They'll make me become someone I'm not if you do. I don't want to be anyone but this me."

McGonagall sighed. "Just stop taking the potions Miss Malfoy, I won't imform the healers about it until or if the switching gets out of controll."

"You mean it?" Lyssa asked, calming down considerably. McGonagall nodded at her. Then Lyssa couldnt' help but smile.

McGonagall sighed as Lyssa left the classroom. Gryffindors could be diffircult sometimes.

Lyssa was in a much better mood than she'd been in days as she went to find Cassie in the common room after leaving the classroom.

"What happaened?' Cassie asked looking up as Lyssa entered the common room.

Lyssa smiled. "Nothing short of anything good," she said, being vague.

Cassie made a face. "That is not telling me what happened Lyssa."

"Hm," Lyssa muttered. "Well McGonagall knows now..."

"Oh," Cassie said. "Is that good or bad?"

"For now, I would say it's a good thing," Lyssa answered.

Cassie nodded. "That's good at least, what did she say?"

"She said I don't have to take the potion anymore, but that she wouldn't tell the healers as long as the switches stayed under some control."

"That's nice of her," Cassie said with a slight yawn.

Lyssa just nodded. "I just hope I can keep it under control." Then she yawned. "Stupid contagious yawning."

Cassie yawned again and smiled slightly. "Yeah." She said with a nod.
