Pieces of Two Different Puzzles

"What?" The boy snapped turning around to face her. He paled somewhat seeing Azy. "Hello Terrance," She said her tone giving off fake pleasantry. "Care to explain why Linn looks as if she's been hit by a car?"

Terrance shrugged, turning back around and trying to play it cool. "As if you don't already have a guess."

"I don't have a guess, I know. And while we are on this topic, care to come with me to Professor Alusera's (Now offically head of Ravenclaw) office. Or am I going to have to bring her here? Which would put her in a bad mood before she even hears what you have done."

"Why don't you just drop it?" Terrance asked. "I don't see her" he motioned his down the table to Linnie, "complaining any."

"Of course you don't, because she doesn't want to get any more beat up from telling on you. But you just happened to beat up the wrong girl and at the wrong time. Though, you do realise, if I hadn't been there that day, you would have gotten expeled on murder charges?" Well manslaughter if you were going to get picky about details, but Azy didn't say that.

"I would have gotten one of my friends to get her from the lake once we'd notice she hadn't come back up if you hadn't intervened. Nothing bad would have happened," Terrance said, brushing the matter off.

"Of course you would have," Azy said her tone doubtful. "But even if you had, you probably would have too late, because you lot were just standing there when I walked out of the castle. And were standing there ten seconds later by the time I reached the god-damn water." Azy was very close to losing her temper. "Do you not realize that people can actually drown.I don't care if you meant it as a joke It's not funny throwing people into water, because sometimes, they can't save themselves." And before she said anything else, or lost her cool she turned walking out of the hall.

Terrance raised an eyebrow after her. "What's got her all bunched up?" he asked out loud, turning back to his friends.

Terrance's freinds shrugged.

Azy made her way to a bathroom as soon as she walked out of the great hall. She entered a stall and shut the door behind her. Locking it and then leaning against it. She rubbed at her eye, sniffing slightly.

Linn had noticed Azy leaving the hall, and being somewhat concerned got up to follow her, although she knew she wasn't likely to catch up any time soon.

Azy sniffed slightly again.

Linnie finally just made it up the stairs and stopped, trying to figure out where Azy might have gone. Thinking like the girl she was, Linn headed toward the restroom that was on the floor. Walking in, as it wasn't far from the stairs she said, "Azy?"

"What?" Azy replied, trying to keep her tone calm.

Linnie limped her way to the door her voice had come from. "You okay?'

"Y-yeah," Azy replied, nodding although Lin couldn't see her. "I'm alright. Just feel a little sick."

"You sure?" Linn asked, making a pact without herself not to leave until Azy did.

"Yep," Azy said.

Linnie shrugged to herself. "Doesn't matter. I'm not leaving til you do. It's time I returned the favor somehow. I do owe you after all."

Azy sighed somewhat. She just wanted Linnie to go away and leave her where she was. She knew she was being somewhat hypocritical but she didn't care.

"Wanna talk about what's bothering you?" Linnie asked, sinking to the floor and leaning on the wall. Standing was causing her too much pain.

"Is something meant to be bothering me?" Azy replied, letting confusion come through in her tone. "I only feel a little queezy. It'll pass."

"You've locked yourself in the bathroom and I heard you sniffle as I walked in. Something is wrong, otherwise you wouldn't be making crying sounds."

"I'd rather not have anyone walk in if im going to be sick," Azy replied. "And I'm getting a cold, which is why im sniffling."

"If you're sure," Linn muttered.

"I'm sure," Azy replied, groaning slightly to add to the pretending to feel sick.
