Pieces of Two Different Puzzles

Terrance looked at her, lazily slumping down in one of the seats in front of the desk. "What?" He said.

"You have been called here to discuss your behavior as of late," she went on. "It has been far from the standards of a student of this school. What ever made you consider harming another student?"

Terrance shrugged at her nonchalantly. He didn't want to be here. He scowled somewhat, stupid Ravenclaw for snitching on him.

The headmistress pursued her lips together. "Mr. Terrance this is a serious matter, and as much as it displeases me to say this, as it's your last year, you are hereby expelled. You are expected to board the train home tomorrow morning."

Terrance scowled at her, angry. She couldn't just expel him. He glared at her, standing up and trudging out of the room in a sour mood.

The headmistress watched him storm out, knowing she'd done the right thing and hoping he didn't do anything stupid in his anger in the time he had remaining.

Terrance scowled walking through the halls, he was an idiot and blammed Linnie for the mess that he was now in.

Classes had just ended and most students had headed off to dinner. Linnie was lagging behind however, because her last teacher had wanted to talk to her about her recent lack of turned in homework, but how was she meant to do homework when she could barely move? As she was headed down a set of stairs she noticed Terrance, hoping he wouldn't see her, or if he did that he would just leave her alone for once.

Terrance's eyes glinted as he saw Linnie, who looked as if she wanted to just be left alone. Because crazy people never think things through he walked over to her. Grabbing the girl's arm as she tried to get away.

Linnie tried to pull away from Terrance as he grabbed ahold of her arm. "Let go," she said, pulling again and thanking Merlin that the bruises were gone or she would be in a world of pain. "What do you want now?"

"What do you think I want?" He snapped at her, pushing her into the wall. "I just got expelled because of you." He whacked Linnie when she opened her mouth to say something.

Linnie bit her lip as she hit the wall and started to tell Terrance that it wasn't her fault that he'd gotten his stupid self expelled when he hit her. Instead of just standing there like a scared child, though, this time she kicked at his ankle, trying to make him get away.

Terrance scowled at the girl, jostling slightly, so he was pinning her to the wall with only one hand. He rested his hand against her throat, pushing hard against it.

Linnie's eyes went wide as she realized his intentions. Her hands automatically reacted, fingers wrapping around Terrance's wrist to try and pull his hand away. She tried to kick him away, which just caused him to step back, where he was more leaning than pressing, which only served to increase the pressure on her neck. Linn choked against Terrance's grip, barely able to get any air at all, let alone enough to keep her alive for a long time.

A moment later, Linnie's tugging on Terrance's wrist lessened in strength and her vision had started to swim just a little bit. She was sure that he would kill her. Then, over Terrance's shoulder, she noticed someone walking down the hall.

Azy had stayed back to talk to a teacher over an assignment and so the halls were empty as she made her way through them. She had been certain the problem with Terrance was over but when she turned into a hallway and saw him choking Linnie, she swore. He was actually trying to kill her. "Terrance," She said walking over to him, her wand in her hand. "Let go of her, you don't want to live with the fact that you've killed someone. Because, you never get over it, trust me." She twirled her wand, aiming it at Terrance, causing his grip on Linnie's neck to slacken.

Linnie could just make out what Azy was saying, but she was feeling too lightheaded to grasp any meaning in it. Then the tight grip on her neck lessened just a little, but it was enough for her to gasp in just a little air. Although, it still wasn't enough.

Azy couldn't cast the spell well enough to cause Terrance's hand to drop from around Linnie's neck. And she didn't want to blast him off before with his holding onto Linnie she'd probably get banged into the wall with it. Though thatwould be better then her suffocating. She frowned somewhat. Terrance wasn't paying any attention to her.

The slackened grip on Linnie's throat did not last, however, once Terrance figured out Azy wasn't going to do anything to him. Linn made a gaspy-cough sound at the re-tightening, as if trying to remind Azy that she couldn't breathe. Her grip on Terrance's wrist had been reduced to basically just her hands resting on it, all of her strength zapped, and her vision was beginning to go very black.

Azura (I havn't used her full name since the first page 0_o) frowned, she had no idea what to do, short of blasting them both into the wall. She decided that was what she was going to have to do. because that's all she could. So flicked her wand, sending the spell at both of them. Terrance's let go of her as they both flew itno the wall and Azy walked over, pointing her wand at him. "Get out of here," She snarled, her voice cold. "Before I loose my temper."

Terrance, quite fearful of Azy's wand after gotten blasted into the wall, scrambled off. (although, really, I'm just sick of him being around)

Linnie did even registered the fact that she'd also hit the wall. All she could bring herself to care about was the automatic gasp people took when they hit things really hard and then the fact that there wasn't a hand around her throat anymore. So, she just sort of laid where she'd fallen on the floor gasping and coughing for all it was worth. Although, the new rush of oxygen only served to make her head spin more. But that stopped with time and her vision cleared up.

Azy watched Terrance scamper off and hoped she never needed to deal with him again. She was sick of it, though she wondered if she would have done what she had for Linnie if it wasn't for what had happened in her past. "You alright?" She asked glancing over at Linnie.

Linnie had managed to push herself up where she was sitting and not laying, still taking deep breathes. She just nodded at Azy, not really able to speak at the moment.

Azy nodded slightly at her. Sometime later, Azy found herself walking through the halls of the school. She'd found out Terrance had been expelled which was a good thing, as she didn't want to deal with him anymore. She sighed, running a hand through her hair. Wishing she could go back in time and fix what she had messed up.
