Cassie blinked again. Even more confused then before. Malfoy? She mouthed at Lyssa. Do you have any idea who she is? Cassie just then noticed she was still leaning on the boy. And she steadied herself standing up straight. "Thank-you," She said softly to him.


"On the topic of who we are," Severus said smiling slightly. "This is my sister, Laurie Evans." He gesured to Laurie. "And I am Severus."

Cassie blinked for the ballionth time that minute. Evans? She thought looking at the two. Surely, they were a different Evans family.

Lyssa shook her head at Cassie. She didn't have a clue who this girl was, but at the same time she could tell that this Nicolette person wasn't lying. You can't hide or fake Malfoy features.

Having calmed down more now, Nic walked over to where Lyssa was and helped her up as Severus had his mother. "You okay?" she asked her mum, to which Lyssa nodded.

"I'm fine," she replied, still confused out of her mind about the goings on right.

Vena was watching Snape, he was hiding his confusion quite well, you wouldn't even think he was. But there was something that told that he was, Vena couldn't quite name it. Maybe just because anyone would be confused if put in the position he was now. "Well well," He said in a sneering voice. He then looked at Vena, eyebrow raised. "I suppose you are also somehow related to a person in this room?" Vena looked at him, a smirk on her face. "No," She said pleasantly. "Not in this room." There was a glimmer in her eye, that always seemed to appear when she said her name to someone who she was expecting some sort of responce out of. "Vena Riddle, I have no doubts in the fact that you would know my father."

"Oh get off it Vena," Nic said. "Yes, they know him. Don't flaunt the name for reactions." She rolled her eyes at the girl heading back over to where Laurie was standing after making sure Lyssa was steady. "Now, can we please get something productive done? All that anger has worn me out and I want to sleep now."

Vena gave Nicole an amused smile and glanced back at Snape.

Cassie was getting more and more confused by the moment.

Laurie frowned slightly. She was tired and confused and really wanted to be getting home.

Severus however was amused somewhat at what was happening, though he was not pleased with what had been happening when he entered the room.

McGonagall cleared her throat and then explained what was going on to Snape. Who by the end of it had a doubtful look on his face.

Lyssa couldn't believe half of what McGonagall was saying, but at the same time it made perfect sense to her. She looked over at the other Malfoy in the office, thinking over and over to herself that this girl was from the future. "So wait," she said after a second of thought. "If these people are from the future like you say and they have mine and Cassie's last names, then how are we related to them?"

Severus looked at his mum and Lyssa for a moment before saying. "We're your children." "You're our what?" Cassie half shouted staring at Severus in disbelief. "What?"She repeated again. "It's true," Laurie said quietly. "We are."

Nic snickered for a second. "Way to be blunt about it, Severus," she said. "Silly Gryffindor boy." It seemed then, that in the short time she'd been sorted Nic had accepted her house and was ready to make playful jabs about houses.

Lyssa just stared at Nic for a long moment. "So, you're my daughter?" she finally said, and Nicole nodded. Then Lyssa went back to being quiet, just thinking that bit over. It was actually quite a lot to learn. Especially at 17, in the middle of a war.

Cassie's gaze averted from her children to the fourth person in the room. "If that, if that is Voldemorts daughter, and she is from the future." Cassie was speaking slowly, hoping she was wrong. "Then, doesn't that mean we are going to lose the war?" Vena smiled wickedly. "It depends which way you put it." She said with a grin. "Whose Voldemort?" Severus asked.

"Voldemort is a Dark wizard guy," Nic said. "He thinks he's all awesome but really he's not too awesome or he wouldn't be fighting some kid when he's like 100 years old or something." She recalled the night when she'd crawled into her mother's bed late one night from a nightmare she didn't know the cause of only to find she'd dreamed something of the past. It had been a weird night.

"He has a weird name," Severus said. Cassie couldn't help it. She laughed. Figured her child would say something of that sort. "Silence," Snape snapped at them, gathering up his wits and getting over the obscurness that had taken over his office. "Miss Malfoy and Miss Evans you are dismissed." "WHich ones?" Laurie asked, a small smile on her face. Snape gave her an irritated look. "The elder of the two."

"But technically," Nicole said, "we're all 17 so there are no elder two, although the implied meaning of your words is evident." She looked over at her mum who didn't seem to want to move. She was, after all, involved in this in some way. "Not leaving," Lyssa said.

Cassie nodded. "Not going anywhere." Laurie sighed somewhat at their parents. "I was not asking you," Snape said cooly to the two girls. "I was telling you to, you have been dismissed. Out."

Lyssa sighed and rolled her eyes. "When will you get that we don't listen to you?" she asked. "I'm not setting foot out of this room until I know what's going on, because whether I like it or not I am somewhat involved in this mess."

"What's wrong with them staying?" Severus asked Snape, frowning at him. "They should be allowed to if they want to." Cassie let out an amused smile, as odd as it still seemed, it was nice to know that one of her children was quite a lot like her.

Snape scowled at being outnumbered but said, "Fine. Let's just get this settled, so I can get all of you children out of my office some time BEFORE the sun rises."

Severus opened his mouth to say something and Laurie elbowed him in the ribs. "Ow," he muttered pouting at her.

So, they got everything settled, having decided that the future kids would just try to blend in until they could get them home again. Then all were dismissed. As they walked down the stairs, Lyssa just had to ask, "So, what house is everyone in?"

Nicole bit her lip, deciding to just let everyone else go first.

"Gryffindor!" Severus said with a grin. Cassie smiled. "Woot!" She said, starting to laugh. Cassie looked at her daughter, which sounds odd. "Ravenclaw," Laurie murmered quietly, Cassie nodded.

Nicole waited for the other two to finish up before it was her turn. She was quiet, until Lyssa looked at her and said, "And you?" Then Nic shrugged. "Not either of those, that's for sure." She sort of didn't want to say, because of the house's reputation, and the fact that she knew her mum and Cassie didn't really like Slytherin. "Not a Hufflepuff, either," Nic went on, leaving them to figure it out on their own.

Cassie nodded slowly, biting her lip to stop herself saying something about Slytherin house. She looked at the girl wondering how Lyssa's child had ended up in the house of the snakes. "Okay," She said with another nod. "Cool."

"It's not cool and you bloody well know it," Nic said, tone bitter. She noted that her mum hadn't said anything about it, but not really minding. Nic actually preferred people not saying anything about it, and it had only just happened.

"There's nothing wrong with Slytherin," Vena said, she was walking a few feet behind the group of people but could hear what they were saying. "We're not all evil you know."

"Evil or not it has a bad rep," Lyssa said.

"And I don't bloody want to be in it," Nic continued on. She really really didn't. She wanted to be like her mum and be in Gryffindor. She had always thought herself brave, and able to handle that house, but apparently the hat disagreed.

Vena rolled her eyes. "But only because people want to keep thinking that, you would rather think less of us then admit that we aren't all that bad."
